As one of the most common renewable clean energy sources,solar energy has always been concerned by the society,and photovoltaic solar power generation has emerged as the times require.Although photovoltaic power generation has been developing for a period of time,there are still many problems.It is not uncommon for photovoltaic power plants to be demaged by burning out,so it’s necessary to develop Smart Circuit Breaker to protect the power station.Based on this actual engineering requirements,this thesis designs a Smart Circuit Breaker which can not only protect the photovoltaic power plant from failures during operation,but also monitor its operation status in real time.The main work is as follows:1.A Smart Circuit Breaker terminal equipment is developed.The hardware of the equipment mainly includes signal acquisition and adjusting circuit,processor unit,trip operation unit,power module,ZigBee module,and GPRS module,etc..The software mainly includes:signal processing routine,current three segment protection routine,ZigBee routing routine,etc.Firstly,the Smart Circuit Breaker processes the operation electrical signals of the photovoltaic power station collected by the bottom sensor in the main control unit.In case of abnormal conditions such as excessive data occurs in the photovoltaic power station,the Smart Circuit Breaker can perform fault tripping or alarm action.Secondly,the ZigBee networking technology is used to collect the data of each power station and send it to the cloud through GPRS module.2.The management service platform is built.On the one hand,a management system running on the host computer is developed based on the MFC platform,and the administrator can quickly read and modify the rated current,fault type and other parameters of the Smart Circuit Breaker through the management system.On the other hand,a server is developed on the cloud to realize the functions of storage,display and processing of power station operation data.When the data is abnormal,it can push the alarm information to the managerial personnel in time.3.The ZigBee routing algorithm is improved.The traditional AODVjr routing algorithm does not limit the routing packets,while the broadcast packets are easy to flood,which usually results in high transmission delay.For the line protection organization,rapidity is an important index.According to the characteristics that the arrangement mode of photovoltaic power stations is generally static bilateral,relevant parameters are added to limit the broadcast direction and maximum hops in the routing process,which reduces redundant routing and improves transmission efficiency.The experiments results show that the designed ZigBee-based Smart Circuit Breaker for photovoltaic power plants can protect photovoltaic power plants from faults effectively,and it also realizes the transmission,storage and cloud analysis of the operating data,which achieves the expected design objectives.
