| As a key influencing factor to enhance the core competitiveness and innovation quality of products,technological innovation is significant for enterprises to win competitive advantages and achieve long-term sustainable development.For a specific technology field,identifying technological opportunities by judging technology development trend and identifying potential R&D hotspots is an important path for enterprises to achieve technological innovation capability precisely and efficiently.This greatly affects the accuracy of technology innovation opportunity identification results.In view of this,this paper proposes a technology opportunity identification method based on patent information mining and technology topic trend prediction.Firstly,the technical terms are filtered by combining the opinions of domain experts,and the potential technical feature words and technical themes in patents are extracted by applying the LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation)theme model;secondly,the distribution and evolution path of technical themes are analyzed by using Hidden Markov Models(HMM),and the trend of technical themes is predicted.Secondly,the Hidden Markov Models(HMM)were used to analyze the distribution and evolution paths of technology themes and predict the trend of technology themes,and then clarify the hot R&D themes;secondly,the multidimensional technology innovation map was used to classify the innovation dimensions of the relevant technology themes and coupled with the innovation law to identify the technology opportunities;finally,a case application was conducted with the screw air compressor as an example,and the application process of the technology opportunity identification path was systematically described.In the case study,we extracted the technical themes of screw air compressors with the help of LDA theme model and HMM model based on the relevant patents searched by the State Intellectual Property Office of China in the past ten years as the source data,and identified the themes that have a rising trend and account for a relatively large share of the total.Themes In addition,by dividing the hot research themes into innovation dimensions and coupling them with innovation laws,this paper identifies five technological innovation opportunities for screw-type air compressors,including air compressor connection stabilization devices,automatic regulation warning devices,and hot air recycling devices.This paper identifies technology opportunities based on patent information mining and technology theme trend prediction,which can be used as a reference for enterprises to quickly and accurately identify technology innovation opportunities and gain technological first-mover advantage by mining key elements of specific technology areas and clarifying potential future R&D hotspots and directions. |
