In order to solve the problem of insufficient capacity and efficiency of the currently widely used instrument landing system(ILS),the International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO)recommends the use of the ground-based augmentation system(GBAS)as a new generation of precision approach and landing system in the“communication,navigation,surveillance/air traffic management(CNS/ATM)”.GBAS can provide aircraft with precision approach guidance that meets the required navigation performance(RNP),and can also provide aircraft with regional navigation(RNAV)services in the terminal area.As parts of aviation products,the design of airborne GBAS receivers should meet the airworthiness,that is,the performance of the receiver must meet the airworthiness certification regulations and requirements,so that the flight within the allowable limit is in a safe state.Therefore,the airworthiness compliance verification of the airborne GBAS receivers is the key to the airworthiness certification of the aircraft,an important link for the GBAS to be put into operation,and it is also a brand-new subject in the current GBAS application research.Based on the relevant standards formulated by the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics(RTCA)and other organizations,the accuracy and integrity parameters of the airborne GBAS receiver “positioning and navigation(PAN)equipment” are deeply analyzed and studied.On this basis,combined with the technical standards order of China Civil Aviation GBAS airworthiness certificaton,the airworthiness compliance verification methods of corresponding parameters are proposed,and the corresponding supporting theories are given,which can provide reference and technical support for the airworthiness compliance verification of other performance indicators of PAN equipment.The main tasks completed are as follows:1)The composition of GBAS and the principle and implementation process of GBAS accuracy augmentation and integrity augmentation are described,and the physical meaning and calculation process of the pseudorange accuracy,figures of merit,protection level and ephemeris error position bound of the airborne GBAS receiver are given.The influences of multipath effect and noise in pseudorange accuracy are analyzed,and the corresponding suppression methods are given.2)The airworthiness regulations and statutory documents related to airborne GBAS receivers in the airworthiness regulatory system of China’s civil aviation are summarized and analyzed.Based on the airworthiness standards of airborne GBAS PAN equipment and the characteristics of China’s civil aviation airworthiness compliance verification method,the airworthiness compliance verification methods,principles and procedures of pseudorange accuracy,figures of merit,protection level and ephemeris error position bound are proposed,as well as judgment standards,the corresponding theoretical support is given.3)According to the proposed airworthiness compliance "laboratory test" verification method,based on the corresponding dynamic environment and the approach flight data collected by X-Plane,the figures of merit,protection level and ephemeris error position bound of class A and class B airborne GBAS receiver are compliance verified by simulation.The verification results and data statistics and analysis show that the figures of merit,protection level and ephemeris error position bound of class A and class B receivers all meet the airworthiness requirements and are consistent with the airworthiness standards of airborne GBAS receiver,which proves the correctness of the airworthiness compliance verification theory and method.
