Design consciousness is a related concept that people produce through the understanding of the nature and laws of the creation activity in the process of creation.In the process of traditional Chinese design and creation,the value tendency of creation has become more and more obvious,and "value" has gradually become the core concept of creation.The main content of this article is the "value meaning" embodied by the "Enrong" gatehouse in Yixian County,that is,the design consciousness in the construction of the "Enrong"gatehouse in Yixian County.The word "Enrong" on the "Enrong" gate in Yixian County is a materialized form of imperial power and a symbol of family status.Under the environment of the times,the word "Enrong" has transformed from an abstract text concept into a concrete material carrier.Design consciousness is a reflection of the internal structural elements of the design,but because the creator who gives the design value meaning has a strong subjectivity,the research will inevitably have a strong subjective color.In order to make the research more objective,this paper extracts the design culture system from Mr.Hu Fei’s research,draws on the method of level analysis by Mr.Feng Youlan in "New Confucianism",and combines the three-level research method of Panofsky’s "Iconology" to form A complete architectural narrative system to explore the core design consciousness of the cultural system.Establish a three-level analysis and narrative system about architecture from shallow to deep,and summarize the subjective design consciousness into an objective logical system,with the purpose of revealing the architectural design consciousness of a specific era.The research on the design consciousness of the gatehouse of "Enrong" in Yixian County is based on the narrative system of "wen-quality-body",starting from the level of"wen".Research on the external content of the gatehouse of "Enrong" in Yixian County,from multiple perspectives,analyze the three aspects of its layout,facade space,and image program,and summarize the overall appearance characteristics of the gatehouse of"Enrong" in Yixian County.Secondly,"quality" is a means and a factor that has obvious binding force on the architectural form.In the "quality" level,the relationship between power and knowledge deeply rooted in the "Enrong" gatehouse in Yixian County was unearthed,which deeply reflected the political system,social life and cultural connotation of Huizhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Finally,from the level of "body"."Body"is the symbolic meaning of architectural form.The pursuit of "Yi" in the construction of"Enrong" gatehouse in Yixian County is explored.Through the analysis of the gatehouse form and decoration,it is concluded that the connotations in the gatehouse "Enrong" The design consciousness of expressing the way and creating images to the fullest will finally reveal the value consciousness of "loyalty and filial piety" and the hidden spirit of family and country in the "Enrong" gatehouse in Huizhou area,which provides historical experience for the construction of modern architecture.
