Research On The Planning And Design Of Sponge City Urban Parks

Traditional design of urban park mainly focus on landscape and tourist participation,in order to maximize its own landscape effect,while less involving urban drainage,stormwater control problems and less emphasis on control and re-use of the stormwater runoff.Moreover,it seldom consider the function of providing spaces for urban stormwater retention,purification and infiltration.With the rapid development of urbanization and the increasingly prominent ecological problems,especially in recent years,China’s urban water environment has become increasingly severe,with frequent urban flooding disasters,smelly river and lake water bodies,and water shortage,people have gradually realized the importance of establishing an urban storm and flood management system.Sponge city,as a new urban stormwater management technology,advocates stormwater runoff control,rainwater resource utilization and non-point source pollution reduction,with a view to improve urban water environment,ensure water security,maintain water ecology and protect water resources,which can effectively promote the healthy and sustainable development of the city.Under the background of sponge city construction,the city park,as an important open space,will play an important role in sponge city construction.The paper introduced the basic concepts of sponge city and sponge city park and analyzed the research status and problems as well as some typical cases at home and abroad by field research,literature review and other methods,and summarized the relevant enlightenment on planning and design of sponge city park.Then based on the design principles,design process and the specific design methods for sponge city park,the paper elaborated the key points of planning and design of sponge city park and summarized the basic design methods.Fengxi New City of Xixian New Area is one of the first batch of national sponge city pilot areas in China.Its sponge city construction concept is advanced and construction achievements are outstanding.The central green corridor project of Fengxi New City,as a typical sponge city park,plays an important role in preventing urban flood and alleviating the shortage of water resources.In the end,this paper makes an in-depth analysis on the central green corridor project of Fengxi New City as a practical support for the study of planning and design methods of sponge city park.The research results of this paper provides effective solution to various problems on sponge city urban park planning and design,and also provides a systemic design ideas and methods,which has great significance on promoting sponge city development and sponge city park construction.
