Abstract/Summary:
China’s electric power resources are abundant,but the distribution is very uneven.The Northwest China has more wind,light and coal energy reserves than the central and eastern parts of China,of which Xinjiang coal reserves occupy the leading place in the country.This determines the pattern of power transmission,and sends the power of the northwest to the central and eastern parts of China.In order to meet the needs of Xinjiang’s own development and the domestic demand for electricity,Xinjiang area gradually formed 750 k V transmission line basic network,because of its high voltage,long conveying distance,line corridor and in the wilderness,because once the transmission line lightning accident caused by tripping,will inevitably affect the reliability of power supply,even cause blackout,is not conducive to China the long-term development of power demand,causing huge losses to the national economy.Because of the difference of transmission corridor meteorological and geographical environment,tower structure and lightning occurrence time,location,amplitude and other factors,caused by lightning accidents of all kinds,this requires the transmission line lightning protection measures targeted to take reasonable difference,achieve good effect of lightning.All countries in the world have studied the lightning protection of transmission lines.There is no big difference between them,and they are more and more close to the actual situation of the line in the gradual improvement.However,there are great differences between China and foreign countries in the choice of lightning protection measures.China’s existing transmission line insulator structure common operation mode and can not determine the lightning protection measures abroad that "grooming" type applies to the current line,we can not copy the actual situation,only for the transmission lines in China,find the most suitable methods and measures of lightning protection in our country,go their own road of lightning protection.Therefore,the lightning detection system applied in Xinjiang power network as the basis,combined with the transmission line lightning distribution,and the parameters of transmission line and line corridor,and for the typical tower,set up a simple model of the transmission lines is analyzed,the calculation method of the lightning trip out rate of engineering application in were compared.Final assessment method on lightning protection of transmission lines: counter using the ATP-EMTP simulation,shielding the application of improved EGM(EGM)were calculated.Risk assessment of a 750 k V transmission line in Xinjiang,and by the lightning trip rate is calculated based on statistics,tower trip rate,analysis of the causes of the lightning trip,find the transmission line lightning protection measures of concrete,reduce the lightning tripping of the line,the power supply reliability is improved.
