The VL-type ball cage is difficult to complete the forging demoulding due to its V-shaped cross distribution of inner rolling channels along the circumference direction,which are not parallel with the axis.At present,mechanical processing is still the main production method,with high production costs,and the discontinuous metal flow affects the service life of the parts.Therefore,it is of great significance to adopt one-time forging for the formation of VL-type cages.In view of the forming process and requirements of VL-type cylindrical shell,this paper studies the control system of multi-directional die forging test press applied to its forging test and its multi-cylinder synchronous control method.The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the forming process of VL-type ball cage cylindrical shell,the hydraulic control components and electrical control components are reasonably selected,and the reasons for the non-synchronization of the horizontal hydraulic cylinder of the press are analyzed.(2)Simplify the control system of the multi-directional die forging test press,establish a mathematical model for each component in the system,and obtain the open-loop transfer function of the system,and analyze the stability of the control system through MATLAB.(3)The co-simulation model of the three hydraulic cylinder control system is established,and the synchronous control strategies are compared and analyzed to determine the optimal synchronous control strategy.The classic PID is analyzed,considering that it cannot complete the PID parameter tuning online,so the performance of the control system cannot be optimized,so a fuzzy PID controller is designed.To improve the universe of fuzzy PID control to adjust with the control process,a fuzzy universe regulator is designed to realize variable universe fuzzy PID control,and the control performance of variable universe fuzzy PID in the synchronous control system of three hydraulic cylinders is verified by simulation.(4)The variable universe fuzzy PID control is applied to the S7-1200 PLC control to realize the control of the multi-directional die forging test press.The HMI interface of the multi-directional die forging test press is designed to complete human-computer interaction.The effectiveness of the control method is verified by the processing test of the VL cage shell,which meets the process requirements.
