The hose industry has entered a new historical development period of the ’ 14 th FiveYear Plan ’.At the same time,due to the epidemic situation and social and economic impact,the market competition of hose is becoming increasingly fierce.How to improve the quality of hose products,enhance the image of enterprises,and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises is an issue that every hose enterprise is extremely concerned about.At present,when improving the quality of hose products,the hose enterprises conduct simple statistical analysis based on empirical judgment,but do not form a theory suitable for the industry.In order to improve the hardness and burst pressure of AEM hose in Enterprise T,this paper analyzed the current situation of AEM hose based on Six Sigma quality management theory and developed a Six Sigma improvement plan with DMAIC process as the implementation step.In Phase D,project improvement goals are established by gathering Voice of Customer,and process capability of current AEM hose hardness and burst pressure is analyzed to determine baseline level.In M stage,confirm the current measurement system is stable and reliable by MSA,find out all the influence factors and improve the controllable factors quickly.In Phase A,use the C&E Matrix and PFMEA to screen the key impact factors.In Phase I,Response Surface Method was used for experimental design(DOE).Through professional experimental design technology,the mixing process parameters were optimized and the optimum parameters were verified while scientifically demonstrating the current industry experience.In Phase C,the process capability of verifying hardness and burst pressure after improvement is greater than 1.33,which can increase economic benefit of 322227 RMB for T Enterprise every year.It is confirmed that this Six Sigma Project is effective and the results of improvement are standardized.In this paper,Six Sigma Theory and advanced analysis technology are applied to the improvement of hose products to form a theoretical method suitable for the hose industry.In view of less research on AEM hose in China at present,the quality problem of AEM hose is analyzed and its process parameters are optimized by applying Six Sigma management theory,which broadens the research material of Six Sigma and provides certain reference value for other related enterprises.
