The fuel/oxidizer separation solid engines has the characteristics of adjustable thrust,high energy and insensitive,which is one of the research hotspots in the field of solid rocket motor abroad.In fuel/oxidizer separation solid engines,propellants are divided into combustion-rich solid propellants and oxygen-rich solid propellants,which are placed in separate combustion chambers.Combustion-rich solid propellants contain no oxidants and are primarily composed of high-nitrogen compounds,aluminum powder,and high-energy adhesives.In this paper,the high nitrogen compound in TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant is triaminoguanidine nitrate(TAGN),and the high energy binder is 3,3-diazine methyl epoxybutane-tetrahydrofuran copolymer(PBT).At present,there is little research on the preparation technology of propellant with TAGN as main component.TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant contains no oxidant.Although it can be burned in low oxygen environment,the combustion performance is poor and the combustion regulation method is uncertain.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the preparation and combustion performance of TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant and explore ways to improve the burning rate of the combustible solid propellant.In this paper,the matrix suitable to the properties of TAGN is studied,and the suitable curing agent and crosslinking agent are screened out.The effects of curing parameters,crosslinking parameters and plasticizing ratio on the network structure and mechanical properties of PBT cured film were studied.The basic properties of TAGN,Al powder and Al alloy powder were characterized.The basic formula of TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant with TAGN,Al and PBT as main components was determined.TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant was prepared,and its mechanical properties,safety properties,combustion properties and thermal decomposition properties were characterized.The results show that when IPDI is used as curing agent,TMP is used as crosslinking agent,curing parameter is 1.6,crosslinking parameter is 0.1,the comprehensive mechanical properties of PBT cured film are better.The TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant prepared on this basis is dense and uniform,with high safety performance and good mechanical properties,but poor combustion performance.The way to improve combustion performance is explored.Based on the basic formulation of TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant,the effects of particle size of TAGN and Al powder,TAGN content,aluminum alloy powder and burning rate regulator on the combustion performance of TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant were studied.The results show that the combustion performance of TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant can be improved by reducing the particle size of TAGN and Al powder,increasing the content of TAGN,using aluminum alloy powder instead of aluminum powder,and using burning rate regulator.The burning rate of TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant with combustion rate regulator CH-C3 is the highest,and the burning rate is 11.50 mm·s-1 at6MPa.The self-sustaining combustion efficiency of TAGN fuel-rich solid propellant with 5wt%lithium aluminum-lithium alloy powder is the highest,which is 18.22%.
