Ag NWs have excellent electrical conductivity,unique optical properties and other physical and chemical properties that meet the requirements of both energy storage devices and green building facades.However,some impurities are inevitably introduced in the synthesis process of Ag NWs,which severely limits its utilization efficiency.Based on this,this paper proposes an environmentally friendly purification method,explores the application of Ag NWs in lithium metal batteries and energy-saving glass,and reveals the mechanism of the role of Ag NWs in solving the problems of poor cycle performance of lithium metal batteries and high energy consumption of conventional building facade glass.The main achievements made in this work are summarized as follows:(1)An environmentally friendly purification method was proposed to address the problems of agglomeration of Ag NWs and environmental pollution caused by traditional purification methods.First,a series of Ag NWs with different impurity contents were prepared by controlling the reaction conditions such as the type and addition amount of nucleation control agents during the synthesis of Ag NWs.The Ag NWs was purified by traditional centrifugation,filtration and low-speed centrifugation-assisted ethanol sedimentation to verified the advantages of the low-speed centrifugation-assisted ethanol sedimentation.Furthermore,the sedimentation times on purification effectiveness for Ag NWs primary solution was investigated.It was shown that the number of precipitation times required increased as the impurity content increased,but significant purification effects were observed,meeting the purity requirements of the application.(2)A method for modifying 3D carbon cloth(CC)collector with Ag NWs is proposed to address the problem of dendrite growth of lithium metal batteries.The Ag NWs were deposited on CC using vacuum filtration,and the uniformly coated Ag NWs/CC was prepared by adjusting the concentration of the Ag NWs dispersion.The electrochemical deposition behaviour of lithium metal on CC and Ag NWs/CC were compared.At deposition surface capacities of 10 m A h cm-2,Ag NWs/CC was able to guide the uniform deposition of lithium metal and inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites.The LFP||Ag NWs/CC-Li full cell offers a discharge capacity of 106 m A h g-1 after 8,300 cycles,with a capacity retention rate of 85.5%at a current density of 5 C.(3)An interwire spacing controllable Ag NWs oriented coating strategy was proposed to address the problem of poor optoelectronic performance due to uncontrollable interwire spacing of conventional Ag NWs modified Low-E glass.The magnetic stirring-assisted method was used to directionally coat Ag NWs on glass to achieve an ordered arrangement of Ag NWs in a monolayer on the glass and to study the effect of interwire spacing of Ag NWs on the performance of Low-E glass was investigated.When the stirring time was 30,60 and 120 min,the interwire spacings of Ag NWs was 1.36,0.68 and 0.28μm,respectively.The glass covered by Ag NWs with an interwire spacing of 0.68μm enable lowεMIR of 0.3(8-14μm)and high optical transmittance of 84.4%(400-600 nm).
