In recent years,the beverage industry is booming,product innovation continues to emerge,and the beverage design field presents a trend of diversification.Today,drinks are no longer just to satisfy thirst,but to carry emotional experience and functional functions.Consumers’ growing demand for quality and sensory experience promotes the close combination of beverage design and sensory elements such as vision,taste,smell and touch,which has attracted wide attention from the design circle and the industry.However,the theoretical and practical research of beverage design is still relatively insufficient,so it is of great significance to enrich its theoretical and practical content.This paper aims to study the visual design based on the theory of multi-sensory experience,and explore the performance of cocktails in the aspects of multi-sensory properties such as sight,taste,smell and touch.Guided by food sensory evaluation method,the characteristics of multi-sensory information of cocktail were analyzed,and the elements of visual design of cocktail were extracted.In addition,the basic principles of cocktail visualization are derived by investigating the "research basis of graphic and color visualization design affecting taste".The experiment will identify consumer needs and verify their sensory experience of visual perception.Finally,combining experimental results and design methods and principles to guide the design practice,the multi-sensory information of the cocktail is transformed into a visual language of graphics and colors,and the feasibility of the design strategy is verified.In design practice,"Information translation" in the principles of visualization,"perceptibility" and "beauty is good" in interaction design are used to guide the design process of the work "METOO Puzzle".Through visual translation,the work directly presents the multi-sensory information of the cocktail,enabling the audience to perceive the cocktail visually.In the specific design process,according to the basic method of visualization,the five taste information of the cocktail,namely sour,sweet,bitter,salty and fresh,is combined with the color,packaging shape and material.Visualization research is applied to the small program design of cocktail drinks order,to enhance consumers’ desire and experience,and to show the unique sense of experience and attraction of cocktail drinks.
