After realizing that the greenhouse effect caused serious influence on climate,environment,agriculture,ocean,atmospheric water cycle,etc.,the governments reached a unified opinion on energy saving and emission reduction governance of climate change.Our country also shoulder the responsibility of the big country,put forward the "double carbon" goal.Industries will have to make plans to cut carbon emissions in order to meet the "two-carbon" targets on time.The construction industry accounts for more than half of the country’s total energy consumption.At the same time,it also emits a lot of carbon,accounting for more than half of the country’s carbon emissions.Therefore,we want to reduce carbon emissions as much as possible.This behavior is conducive to the realization of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.As a strong economic province,Shandong contributes significantly to the development of the national economy.The value added of Shandong’s construction industry is over20%,and its energy consumption and carbon emissions are also high.Therefore,reducing the carbon emissions of the construction industry can greatly reduce the total carbon emissions which is a meaningful research topic.In this context,the main research routes of this paper are as follows.Firstly,carbon dioxide emissions from the construction industry in Shandong Province from2009 to 2020 were calculated.Secondly,GDIM model is used to decompose the influence factors.Then,the index system of carbon emission reduction ability was constructed from four aspects,based on the results of factor analysis and related research: economic factors,energy consumption factors,social factors and technical factors.In order to better understand the implementation effect of a series of emission reduction measures put forward by Shandong Province in 2013.In this paper,a model--entropy weight topsis method--was used to evaluate the carbon emission reduction capacity of 16 cities in Shandong Province in three special years,namely 2013,2016 and 2021.After that,the obstacle factor diagnosis model was used to calculate the obstacle degree of each city.Finally,the evaluation results will be visualized to show the emission reduction characteristics of each city more intuitively.and based on the characteristics of each city,the paper puts forward some emission reduction suggestions for Shandong Province.The results are as follows:(1)In terms of energy consumption,diesel is the largest,followed by electricity,but natural gas is the smallest.In the construction material consumption composition,cement consumption is the largest,the second is steel.In the carbon emission composition,indirect carbon emissions are the largest,which directly affects the overall trend of carbon emissions.(2)The effect of output scale hinders the improvement of carbon reduction capacity.However,energy consumption,output carbon intensity,per capita value added and energy intensity have the same effect.The effect is to curb the rise or fall of carbon emissions.(3)From the perspective of time,Taian,Zaozhuang,Linyi and Yantai have increased the carbon emission reduction capacity of the construction industry,while Yantai and Weihai have decreased the carbon emission reduction capacity of the construction industry.Although the scores of other cities fluctuate slightly,the overall level remains unchanged.From the spatial dimension,the western region and the southwest have weak carbon emission reduction capacity,while the central and eastern coastal areas have high carbon emission reduction capacity,the gap in carbon reduction capacity between cities has widened slightly.(4)From the criterion level obstacle factor analysis,although the obstacle factors affecting the development of each city are different,but most of these factors belong to economic factors and social factors.In terms of the index layer,although the secondary indexes affecting urban carbon emissions are slightly different,the GDP of the construction industry and the per capita residential building area in urban areas account for a large proportion.(5)Based on the present situation and features of Shandong Province’s building industry,some suggestions on reducing carbon emissions are proposed in Shandong Province.
