Rare earth sulfur oxides have the advantages of stable physical and chemical properties,strong absorption capacity,high conversion efficiency and strong emission in visible light,and are widely used in displays,LEDs,X-ray intensifiers and other technologies.This paper briefly introduces the physical and chemical properties,development history and research progress at home and abroad of rare earth doped sulfur oxides.The main preparation methods of phosphors and their advantages and disadvantages are compared in detail.The purpose and significance of the topic selection are summarized,and the main discussion contents of this paper are planned.Gd2O2S:Tb3+phosphors were prepared by high-temperature solid-state method and coprecipitation-sulfurization flux method respectively.The structure,morphology,particle size and luminescent properties of the samples were analyzed in detail to determine the best sintering temperature and holding time,and the interaction mechanism between Tb3+ions was discussed.The details are as follows:1.Gd2O2S:Tb3+phosphor was prepared by high-temperature solid-state method using nano-Gd2O3 as raw material.The effects of synthesis calcinated temperature,Soaking time and Tb3+doping concentration on the morphology and luminous intensity of Gd2O2S:Tb3+phosphor were discussed.The phase structure,morphology,luminous performance,fluorescence lifetime and interaction between Tb3+ions of Gd2O2S:Tb3+phosphor were analyzed in detail and determined.The optimum doping concentration of Tb3+is 4%and D50 is 3.511μm,and the optimum synthesis temperature of the phosphor was determined to be 950℃and the optimum holding time was 2 h.2.Gd2O3:Tb3+precursor was synthesized by co-precipitation method,and then Gd2O2S:Tb3+phosphor was prepared by sulfuration flux method.The synthesis process of Gd2O3:Tb3+precursor and the influence of the morphology and grain size of the precursor on Gd2O2S:Tb3+phosphor were explored.The optimum synthesis temperature and holding time of Gd2O3:Tb3+precursor were determined to be 850℃and and the optimum holding time was 1.5 h.The phase structure,morphology,luminescent properties,fluorescence lifetime and the interaction between Tb3+ions of Gd2O2S:x Tb3+phosphor were analyzed in detail.When the optimum doping concentration of Tb3+in Gd2O2S:Tb3+phosphor is 3.5%,the D50 is 2.775μm.
