As the development of marine oil and gas resources gradually moves towards the harsh working conditions of the deep sea,the quality requirements for welded pipelines such as oil well pipes and transmission pipes have correspondingly increased. Therefore,it is necessary to explore the influence of welding process parameters, weld seam burr morphology, and welding quality,in order to help improve the quality of welded pipes. This article mainly focuses on the welding and extrusion process of three-dimensional high-frequency induction welded pipes, and the research mainly solves the coupling problem of multiple physical fields such as temperature field, electromagnetic field, stressstrain field, etc.Introducing metal flow line angle as a welding quality evaluation standard, exploring the relationship between welding process parameters, weld burr morphology, and metal flow line angle. The research work mainly includes:(1)Numerical simulation of high-frequency induction welding process using segmented simulation concept. The numerical simulation is divided into high-frequency induction heating process and extrusion forming process. For the high-frequency induction heating process, first,a finite element model of electric magnetic thermal coupling is established using COMSOL software to obtain the temperature field in the welding point area; The temperature field in the welding point area serves as the basic physical field data for the extrusion forming process, and is assigned to the equivalent tube blank model in DEFORM software.Relevant motion control parameters are set to complete the extrusion forming simulation.Study the variation law of physical field parameters by combining postprocessing modules.(2)The Control variates is used to analyze the effect of welding process parameters on metal streamline angle one by one.By adjusting parameters such as extrusion amount, welding speed, and current frequency, analyze the changes in metal flow line angle and weld seam burr morphology.Based on welding temperature requirements and combined with welding quality evaluation standards based on metal flow angle, determine the reasonable range of welding process parameters.(3)Design and operate experiments to complete validation. To verify the rationality of the numerical simulation results, welded blank workpieces were obtained from the production line of the factory, and relevant experiments were conducted to obtain the distribution of metal flow lines. The numerical simulation results were compared with the experimental results, verifying the rationality of the simulation results.
