Research On The Profitability Sustainability Evaluation Of Power Battery Companies Under The Background Of Carbon Neutralit

The new energy car industry has seen a dramatic surge in investment since the introduction of low carbon development,and the entire sector has seen a rapid expansion.At the heart of this chain,power battery companies in the middle stream have been able to keep up with the market’s swift growth.The electric battery industry,though appearing promising,has seen a dramatic improvement in its competitive structure due to the nation’s macro policy becoming increasingly standardized.In particular,since the development strategy of carbon neutral has been proposed,the industry has been put forward as a key area of development.The competitive nature of survival will become increasingly intense,making it difficult for businesses to remain competitive.This will result in a major issue in the sustainability of the enterprise,as the factors that affect its growth become more intricate,such as financial capability,technique,or size,as well as policy and market rivalry.Therefore,in order to make a more accurate analysis,we should combine The Time’s request and expand the research field.The author,after examining the characteristics of the electric battery sector,concludes that the dual-carbon objective is not only the commencement,but also the conclusion of its growth.Therefore,the sustainable profit analysis of electric battery companies should include low carbon elements.For the purpose of further study,this article takes CATL Company,which is developing rapidly,as an example.Based on the previous literature,this paper makes a conclusion on the CATL profit sustainability based on carbon neutrality.This paper builds a more comprehensive evaluation index system for the profit sustainability of power battery enterprises,taking into account the backdrop of carbon neutrality and the features of such enterprises.The profit sustainability evaluation indicators of power battery enterprises proposed in this paper have nine first-level indicators: Four indicators of profitability sustainability,profitability structure,operating capacity and solvency,three driving indicators of profitability sustainability,policy orientation,low-carbon development and talent construction,two potential indicators of profitability sustainability,growth capacity and technological innovation,including 25 secondary indicators.Secondly,a more reasonable and scientific analytic hierarchy process is adopted to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on the profit sustainability of power battery enterprises,comprehensively consider each index,calculate the weight of the index,and then evaluate the profit sustainability level of power battery enterprises.Finally,the practicability of the index system is tested.Taking CATL as an example,this paper makes a systematic and comprehensive analysis of its development capacity combined with relevant index data,so as to put forward reasonable countermeasures and suggestions for improving its profitability sustainability.The analysis results show that the evaluation index system of the profitability sustainability of power battery enterprises proposed in this paper has good feasibility in the actual analysis of the profitability sustainability level of CATL.The overall level of profitability sustainability of the industry fluctuates greatly,and the level of profitability sustainability of CATL has a comparative advantage in the industry,but there are still problems such as reduced profit margins,high policy dependence,and single major markets.CATL needs to continue to strengthen technological innovation in the future,make continuous efforts,reduce the cost of raw materials,reduce dependence on policies,and deepen the layout of the whole industry chain in order to maintain a leading position in the highly competitive market.In addition,CATL will continue to optimize the treatment of solid waste pollution and strive to achieve the national carbon emission target.
