Research On The Application Of Leisure Clothing Under The Concept Of Gender Ambiguity

The purpose of this paper is to explore the development trend and internal communication of the concept of gender ambiguity in the field of fashion design,analyze the emergence of the concept of gender ambiguity and the basic reasons for its popularity from the perspective of sociology,study its evolution process in the development of fashion,and explore its design expression and style characteristics in the field of fashion design.Therefore,this paper objectively evaluates the development of gender ambiguity in fashion design by means of comparative research,literature,market investigation and case analysis.The results of this study show that the concept of gender ambiguity has been widely applied in the field of fashion design and has become a popular trend.Through the analysis of the concept of gender ambiguity,it can be found that the fundamental reason behind this trend is the diversity of society and culture,as well as people’s gradual escape from traditional gender roles and dress.Due to the development of economy and society and the change of productive roles of men and women during the war,the concept of gender-ambiguous clothing was formed.The development and evolution of this phenomenon has roughly experienced three stages,which are reflected in turn as the feminization of women’s wear,the emergence of female elements in men’s wear,and the integration of men’s and women’s wear.The characteristics of clothing can be reflected from three aspects: color,silhouette and fabric.Designers should pay more attention to the inherent meaning and expression of the concept of gender ambiguity,and express personalized aesthetics and thoughts through innovative design techniques and diverse elements.This innovative and diverse design trend not only helps drive the development of the fashion industry,but also provides consumers with more choices and freedom,making fashion design more open and inclusive.This study hopes to provide useful thinking and reference for designers and people engaged in fashion design related work,hoping to promote further innovation and development in the field of fashion design.
