Research On Modular Design Of Huangmei Cross Stitch

In this paper,the structural research of related modularization of Yellow plum cross-stitch is carried out for textile handicraft in eastern Hubei.Huangmei cross-stitch has unique artistic characteristics in composition,layout,pattern modeling and color matching,among which composition,layout and pattern modeling are the most distinctive.In this paper,based on Mr.Redhou’s research method of modular Chinese traditional art,the composition,layout and pattern modeling of Huangmei cross-stitch were developed,and the modular design was studied by means of combination,displacement and multiplication.The introduction introduces the background,purpose and research status of this paper.It mainly introduces the historical origin and development process of Huangmei cross-stitch.In addition,it also discusses the space and time range of Huangmei cross-stitch,which provides the foundation for the subsequent research of modular design.The second part of this paper mainly discusses the influence of the modular tendency of Huangmei cross-stitch.Firstly,the formation factors of Huangmei cross-stitch can be divided into four categories: natural environment near mountains and rivers,regional resources of Wu-Chu and Chu-chu,poor stitching and repair,household support and religious culture blending and interpretation.Secondly,it classifies the theme types of Huangmei cross-cut under the modular mode.The theme types can be divided into praying Zi to prolong life,extracting wealth and blessing,and disexorcizing evil disaster.Finally,the paper discusses the research on the concept construction under the modular cross-stitch of Huangmei,which can be divided into three conceptual tendencies: the functional appeal of the object,the aesthetic ideal of the creation of the time,and the idea of the creation of the object.The third part mainly carries out specific research on each level units in the modular system of Huangmei cross-stitch.Firstly,the key points and design principles of modular design in Huangmei cross-stitch are discussed and studied.Secondly,the modular hierarchy of Huangmei cross-stitch was studied in a hierarchical way.The modular hierarchy can be divided into five categories: single stitch(point,line and plane),geometric elements(cross,shape),single pattern(lotus,peony,etc.),combination or whole pattern,and all Huangmei cross-stitch.Finally,the realization method of modular new unit in Huangmei cross stitch is discussed.The realization method can be divided into three categories: combination,replacement and multiplication.The fourth part mainly studies the design practice of the sorted modular pattern of the yellow plum cross-stitch.Firstly,based on the previous research,the innovative design of the yellow plum cross-stitch pattern is carried out.Secondly,the research on the style,color and accessories of the fashion trend is based on the research.Finally,a series of clothing design is completed,and the possibility of design innovation application is discussed.By exploring the modular design of Huangmei cross-stitch,this paper applies the modular design principle to separate the Huangmei cross-stitch pattern into different levels,and provides theoretical conception for the composition ways and methods of different levels of patterns.Meanwhile,it indirectly provides inspiration sources,material sources and cultural foundations for the innovative design application of contemporary patterns.This also provides a scheme and reference for the innovative design research of Chinese intangible cultural heritage textile crafts.
