Land use changes can have a significant impact on the quality of ecological environment, which in turn can cause changes in the landscape pattern and affect the flow of materials and energy in the ecosystem. To reveal the ecological response to land use change, clarify the spatial and temporal patterns and dynamic changes of ecosystem service values and ecological environment quality caused by regional land use change can provide scientific basis for rational development and utilization of land resources and ecological environmental protection. The article takes Linhe District of Inner Mongolia as the research object, selects four periods of land use data and Landsat TM/OLI remote sensing image data in 2005,2010,2015 and 2020,uses spatial analysis and mathematical statistical methods to study and analyze the impact of land use change on ecological environment quality and ecosystem service value in Linhe District, identifies the ecological environment in Linhe District and proposes countermeasures to improve it.In this paper, the impact of land use change on ecological environment is analyzed by remote sensing ecological index and ecosystem service value.Firstly, the response results of ecosystem quality due to land use change are explored based on the land use change transfer matrix and remote sensing ecological index(RSEI).Secondly, the response results of ecosystem service value due to land use change were explored based on land use change data combined with ecosystem service value correction model. Finally, the correlation between the response results of ecosystem quality and ecosystem service value due to land use change is analyzed by using the gray correlation analysis. The following conclusions were drawn from this study:(1)From 2005 to 2020,the arable land is the dominant land type in Linhe District, accounting for about 59.96 percent of the area;the expansion of urban, rural and residential land continues to be slow;the area of water area increases;the conversion of land types between arable land and grassland is obvious;the area of both decreases slightly;the area of unused land and forest land does not change much and maintains its own ecological stability.(2)The remote sensing ecological index can comprehensively reflect the ecological environment quality condition of the study area from July to August, and the average values of RSEI in Linhe District from 2005 to 2020 are 0.5371,0.6015,0.5087 and 0.6837,showing a fold down and up trend with a growth rate of 27.29 percent. The positive effects of greenness and humidity on the improvement of ecological environment in the study area were greater than the negative effects of dryness and temperature, resulting in the increase of ecological environment quality from average to good level, and the overall ecological environment condition improved significantly. The ecological environment quality of each land use type during the study period was as follows: arable land > forest land > grassland > water > urban, rural and residential land > unused land. The relationship and correlation between ecosystem service value and ecological environment quality and its ecological factors are strong, and the improvement of ecological environment quality is conducive to the improvement of ecosystem service value.(3)Among the regions with improved ecological environment quality, the interconversion of arable land and grassland, conversion of urban-rural and residential land to arable land and conversion of urban-rural and residential land to forest land have greater impact on the types of land use changes, with area shares of 17.38 percent 17.34 percent and 10.84 percent respectively;conversion of arable land to watershed, conversion of arable land to urban-rural and residential land and conversion of grassland to urban-rural and residential land have greater impact on The influence of the degradation of ecological environment quality is greater, with the area share of 29.11 percent,22.57 percent and 10.39 percent respectively.(4)From 2005 to 2020,the value of ecosystem service function in Linhe District showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, with a total increase of 0.62 billion yuan and an average annual change rate of 15.07 percent.Among the land use types, cropland, grassland and watershed provide the largest value of ecosystem services, with forest land and unused land in second place, urban and rural, residential land has the lowest value of ecosystem services.(5)The ecological environment quality improvement and degradation conditions coexist in Linhe District, and the area of ecological environment quality improvement is larger than the area of RSEI unchanged and degraded, and the area of ecological environment quality improvement is 9.43 times larger than the area of degradation. Most of the areas in the study area show the characteristics of ecological environment improvement, with an area of64.96 percent;the southwestern areas such as Shuanghe town, central city,Bayi township,Linhe farm and Ulantuk town show the trend of ecological environment degradation, with an area of 6.89 percent.(6)In view of the ecological problems in Linhe District, such as salinization of arable land, urban and rural areas, occupation of arable land and grassland by residents, the existence of a large amount of unused land around the Yellow River basin in Ulantuck Town and Shuanghe Town, and the low value of ecosystem services of woodland and grassland, countermeasures to improve the ecological environment such as strengthening the protection of arable land, increasing the coverage of forest and grass, improving unused land and reasonably controlling the growth of construction land are proposed. The results of the study can provide a scientific basis for optimizing the spatial pattern of land, improving the value of ecosystem services and improving the quality of ecological environment in Linhe District.
