Study On Ecological Performance Of Herdsmen’s Professional Cooperative In Chifeng City

As an important business entity for the high-quality development of animal husbandry,the economic,ecological,social and cultural values embedded in herders’ professional cooperatives are constantly highlighted in the development of agricultural and rural modernization.Studying the ecological performance level and influencing factors of herders’ professional cooperatives is the key to the sustainable development of herders’ professional cooperatives,which is conducive to promoting the green and healthy development of animal husbandry,enhancing the production function and production capacity of grassland,and protecting grassland ecology.In this paper,the ecological performance level of herding professional cooperatives in Chifeng was studied with the objective of promoting the green and sustainable development of herding professional cooperatives in Chifeng,and the ecological performance evaluation system of herding professional cooperatives in Chifeng was established with 2 criterion levels and 12 index levels.The TOPSIS method was applied to measure the ecological performance of 39 herders’ cooperatives in Chifeng.The study found that the ecological performance of herding cooperatives in Chifeng is at the primary stage,and the overall level needs to be improved;the ecological performance level varies widely among herding cooperatives,and the development rate is uneven;most herding cooperatives in Chifeng are at the stage of protecting and utilizing grassland resources with adaptive behaviors,and there is a lack of active behaviors to build and develop grassland ecology;the ecological performance development rate of herding cooperatives in different banners and counties is different.The ecological performance of cooperatives in different banners and counties varies in terms of development rate.After analyzing the factors affecting the ecological performance of herding cooperatives in Chifeng,it was concluded that the lack of participation and attention to grassland protection by members,insufficient production capacity of green and pollution-free livestock products,and the need to strengthen the cooperative’s grassland utilization and management system are the main problems in development.Based on the results of the study,this thesis proposes four countermeasures to improve the initiative of protecting ecology by strengthening the training of cooperative members;enhancing the utilization and management of grassland resources to improve the utilization efficiency of grassland;accelerating the transformation and upgrading of animal husbandry to promote the transformation of livestock products to green and high quality;and incorporating ecological performance evaluation into the evaluation mechanism of model cooperatives,in order to improve the ecological performance level of herding professional cooperatives in Chifeng City.The aim is to improve the ecological performance level of herding professional cooperatives in Chifeng and promote the sustainable development of herding professional cooperatives more quickly,so as to strengthen the development strength of the herding industry and herding areas continuously.
