Plastic products are widely used in people’s daily life, and their random disposal causes serious pollution to the environment. Therefore, the recycling and reuse of plastic waste has become one of the hot spots for domestic scholars to study. One of the most effective methods to achieve plastic waste recycling is to produce plastic oil by pyrolysis of plastics. The plastic oil obtained by pyrolysis can be developed into higher value-added products, which not only meets the basic requirements of "carbon neutral" and "carbon peak" introduced by the state, but also can realize the recycling of resources. In this thesis, the preliminary modification of the prepared plastic oil was carried out by using physicochemical treatment. The tribological properties of the modified plastic oil are investigated by using the CFT-1comprehensive tester of surface properties of materials;the tribological properties of the modified plastic oil as a diesel fuel additive are investigated in a high-frequency reciprocating friction and wear test. The tribological mechanism of plastic oil and its modified oil was analyzed in depth, and the surface morphology and elemental composition of the friction subsets were characterized with the help of modern characterization tools to reveal the lubrication mechanism of plastic oil.The results show that the main components of the three plastic oils prepared by modification are alkanes and olefins, and there are certain amounts of acids, alcohols, esters, ethers and other compounds.Very small amounts of nitrogen-containing and sulfur-containing compounds also exist in crude oil. After modification treatment,a small amount of sulfur-containing compounds still exist in the distillate oil sample. The disappearance of such compounds in the oxidized and decolorized oil products is mainly due to their oxidation by strong oxidants, which removes the nitrogen-containing and sulfur-containing compounds from the oil.Tribological experiments show that the lubricating effect of modified plastic oil is worse than that of base oil(SN150),but it is better than that of 0 # diesel. In addition, the experiment of high-frequency reciprocating friction tester showed that the lubrication effect of the oxidized and decolorized oil sample was the best when the three modified oils were used as additives.Through the analysis of the components of the oil samples before and after,it was found that the lipid compounds generated in the grinding fluid are easy to adsorb on the surface of the friction material because of the polarity of the ester group, which is easy to form the friction film to protect the interface and reduce the friction function. The moisture in the distilled oil sample is the main factor that leads to the corrosion of the specimen during the friction process, which in turn increases the wear of the specimen. This phenomenon is especially obvious under high load.In order to solve the above corrosion problems, the emulsification method was used to emulsify the oxidized and decolorized oil.The optimal additive amount was obtained by observing the static delamination phenomenon of the emulsified oil and analyzing the friction data.In conclusion, during the experimental process of using plastic oil as diesel additive, the best lubrication effect was obtained for oxidized and decolorized oil,and the anti-wear properties has been greatly improved. The presence of corrosion phenomena can affect the service life of material components. Therefore, the dissolution behavior of oil on rubberbased products was investigated continually. The O-shaped elastomers were subjected to immersion experiments, which showed that the surface analysis of the materials after immersion revealed that all three elastomeric materials had different degrees of corrosion on their surfaces, and the corrosion phenomenon of silicone rubber was the most obvious. This is because the main components of the three oil samples are hydrocarbons(weakly polar substances),according to the principle of similar solubility,so the mass of silicone rubber increased the most.
