The issue of road traffic safety has always received social attention and is also a hot topic of academic research.Due to the frequent occurrence of traffic accidents on urban roads and highways, most of the existing research on traffic safety both domestically and internationally focuses on these two types of roads.Compared to urban highways and expressways, although the absolute number of traffic accidents on low-grade highways in mountainous areas is relatively small, the accident fatality and injury rate is high. Therefore, attention should be paid to the traffic safety issues of lowgrade highways in mountainous areas. This article selects low-grade highways in Chongqing from 2017 to 2020 as the research object, and uses traffic accident data as a sample for statistical analysis of accident characteristics;Analyze the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of low-level accidents in mountainous areas using Arc GIS data map visualization technology;Using Analytic Hierarchy Process and Improved Apriori Algorithm Association Rule Analysis to explore the underlying laws behind accidents and analyze the causes of traffic accidents on low-grade highways in mountainous areas. At the same time,a road accident safety warning model is constructed to propose corresponding countermeasures for the combination attributes that are prone to traffic accidents on low-grade highways in mountainous areas, and to improve the traffic safety level of low-grade highways in mountainous areas. The main research content of the paper is as follows:(1)Analysis of traffic accident characteristics on low-grade highways in mountainous areas.Statistical analysis was conducted on the characteristics of low grade highway traffic accidents in Chongqing from 2017 to 2020 from various aspects such as people, vehicles, roads, environment, accident types, accident forms, transportation modes, and accident identification reasons.(2)Analysis of spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of traffic accidents on low-grade highways in mountainous areas.Analyze the distribution characteristics of accident time from several aspects such as year, month, and hour.Utilize Arc GIS data map visualization technology to locate accident points in the map.(3)Analysis of the causes of traffic accidents on low-grade highways in mountainous areas.Firstly, the importance of each attribute was obtained using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP).Then,an improved algorithm based on the Apriori algorithm under a multidimensional data structure was used to mine association rules using the Analysis Service component in the software.Multiple strong association rules were obtained between the attributes of the accident itself, between multi class attributes and the accident itself, and between single class attributes and the accident itself.By interpreting association rules, the causes of traffic accidents on low-grade highways in mountainous areas are identified.(4)Research on Traffic Safety Early Warning and Preventive Measures for Low Grade Highways in Mountain Areas.Based on the weights of accident influencing factors obtained by the Analytic Hierarchy Process,a warning model for safe driving of vehicles on low-grade highways in mountainous areas is constructed.Based on the combination of attributes that are prone to accidents identified through statistical analysis and association rule analysis, targeted countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to improve the traffic safety level of low-grade highways in mountainous areas. |
