Research On Quality Evaluation Of Kweichow Moutai ESG Information Disclosure Under The Background Of "Double Carbon"

ESG stands for "Environmental","Social" and "corporate Governance",and requires companies to pay more attention to elements of social responsibility,such as environmental,social and corporate governance.With the proposal of the goal of achieving carbon peak and carbon neutralization,ESG is gradually becoming an important principle for enterprises to support carbon neutralization.The establishment of ESG organization management system and the improvement of ESG information disclosure system have become the general trend.However,according to MSCI’s ESG rating released in July 2021,Chinese listed companies lag one to two notches in the emerging market index and have yet to improve further.Liquor enterprise is one of the four "evil" industries,there are problems such as large waste water discharge,high pollution load,difficult management and so on.Therefore,as one of the main factors to measure the sound management of a company,it is urgent to urge enterprises to improve the level of ESG management with the requirement of information disclosure.This thesis first to ESG help "double carbon" goal realization,promoting enterprise energy saving and emission reduction as the research background,relying on the sustainable development theory,economic externality theory and corporate social responsibility theory,using the literature analysis method,by collating and comparing domestic and foreign mainstream ESG information disclosure standard and evaluation system,combined with the policy requirements and actual conditions of our country.Twenty indicators,such as "carbon emission and carbon intensity" and "staff training and development",were selected to evaluate environmental,social and corporate governance performance.Secondly,Kweichow Moutai is selected as a case enterprise to introduce its current situation of ESG information disclosure from the perspectives of compiling standards,framework and disclosure methods.Then,the rating status of Kweichow Moutai by different institutions at home and abroad is introduced,and the necessity of constructing an ESG information disclosure quality evaluation system is analyzed.The AHP was used to determine the weights of each index,and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to conduct an overall evaluation on the ESG information disclosure of Kweichow Moutai.The evaluation results were divided into four grades: "excellent","good","medium" and "poor",and the evaluation results were analyzed from three dimensions: environment,society and corporate governance.Finally,by analyzing the problems,it is concluded that Kweichow Moutai ESG information disclosure has such problems as inadequate disclosure of industrial indicators,selective disclosure of information,lack of standardization of information disclosure,and "greenwashing" behavior of information disclosure.In view of the above problems,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to optimize the quality of information disclosure from the enterprise level and the company level.This study is helpful for alcohol enterprises to improve their awareness and disclosure of ESG as soon as possible,follow the global unified ESG standard,and take the disclosure of ESG substantive information as a starting point to promote the long-term sustainable development of the industry.
