Research On The Quality Of Carbon Information Disclosure Of Datang Power Generation Based On CDP

In recent years,in order to achieve the goal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutral" and the requirements of sustainable development,as well as the urgent need for sustainable social development,a new period of development has begun,in order to accelerate scientific and technological progress and socio-economic transformation and upgrading,to meet the growing needs of the Chinese people for a good ecological environment,as well as the urgent need to achieve a harmonious coexistence between man and nature.The CDP Carbon Disclosure Project,with the largest and most comprehensive environmental data in the world,provides support for investors,enterprises,cities and national and regional governments in their decision making through data collection and analysis,and promotes economic prosperity in a direction beneficial to human society and the planet.The power generation industry,as a high carbon emission industry,has a significant impact on the environment,especially the gases that cause global warming through the burning of fossil energy.Based on the existing literature research and the characteristics and development of Datang Power Generation,this thesis constructs a CDP-based evaluation model for the quality of carbon information disclosure of Datang Power Generation.In addition,this thesis manually collates information related to the quality of carbon information disclosure of Datang Power Generation enterprises,conducts evaluation and analysis based on the model,and puts forward corresponding suggestions from the government level,enterprise level and society level.After collecting and organizing the relevant literature and studies on carbon information disclosure at home and abroad,this thesis briefly explains carbon information disclosure and related concepts,takes Datang Power Generation as a case company,evaluates the quality of carbon information disclosure,and initially analyzes the current situation of carbon information disclosure of Datang Power Generation in the context of "double carbon".Then,we analyzed the quality requirements of carbon information disclosure of Datang Power Generation based on CDP in the context of "double carbon",based on the previous work.Based on the background,this study uses the hierarchical analysis method,combines the CDP questionnaire indexes,selects the relevant evaluation indexes to evaluate carbon information disclosure,and then assigns weights to the selected indexes to build a CDP-based carbon information disclosure quality evaluation model of Datang Power.The model was used to evaluate the quality of Datang Power’s carbon information disclosure by manually compiling the social responsibility reports and annual reports of Datang Power in the last three years.This thesis evaluates the relative position of Datang Power in the industry,summarizes and analyzes the problems of Datang Power in the evaluation of carbon information disclosure quality,and then makes suggestions on how to improve the quality of carbon information disclosure of Datang Power from the perspectives of government,enterprise and society respectively.This thesis hopes to improve the quality of carbon information disclosure of China’s power generation enterprises through the study on the evaluation of carbon information disclosure quality of Datang Power,so as to meet the needs of various information users on the one hand,and enhance the social image of power generation enterprises and promote their long-term development on the other.
