With the accelerated urbanization and industrialization process,coupled with the lack of overall consideration of the spatial development pattern of the country in the past,it has led to many problems such as the deterioration of ecological environment,inefficient land use,and the deterioration of the quality of human living environment,etc.The conflicts between production,living and ecological land are increasingly intensified,which seriously hinders the sustainable development of the country’s land space.The existing problems between resources,environment and economy require coordinating the relationship between "production-living-ecological" space,optimizing the spatial layout of "production-living-ecological" space,and promoting high-quality and green development,the key is to build an intensive and efficient production space,a livable and appropriate living space,and a beautiful ecological space.This paper takes Kaiyang County,a karst mountainous area,as the study area,and uses four periods of land use change data from 2009,2013,2018 and 2021 to construct a spatial classification system of "production-living-ecological" space in Kaiyang County,with the help of land use dynamic attitude,transfer matrix,standard deviation ellipse,center of gravity shift,landscape pattern index and other methods.The method reveals the spatial and temporal evolution of "production-living-ecological" space in Kaiyang County from 2009 to 2021 in three dimensions: quantitative structure,spatial pattern and landscape pattern,identifies the main driving factors quantitatively by using spatial econometric regression model,constructs a compound driving mechanism,and proposes measures to optimize "production-living-ecological" space in Kaiyang County.The following results were achieved:First,the spatial distribution characteristics of the "production-living-ecological" space.Based on the dominant functions of land use,the three spatial systems of production,living and ecology in Kaiyang County are identified and constructed,revealing that the ecological space and production space in Kaiyang County were dominant,among which the production space and ecological space were "globally dispersed" and the living space was "locally aggregated".The distribution characteristics of production space and ecological space were "globally dispersed",while living space was "locally aggregated".Second,evolution of the quantitative structure of the "production-living-ecological" space.From 2009 to 2021,the area of production space in Kaiyang County showed an overall decreasing trend,the area of living space continues to increase,and the area of ecological space showed an overall fluctuating upward trend.2009-2021 transfer matrix showed that the three spatial types of agricultural production space,green ecological space and rural living space transfer into and out of each other.Due to urbanization and industrialization,urban living space,potential ecological space and industrial production space occupy other spatial types with more intense dynamic changes.Third,evolution of the spatial pattern of "production-living-ecological" space.From the spatial distribution of the dynamics of the township,the spatial dynamics of "production-living-ecological" space in Kaiyang County changes significantly,showed the overall characteristics of decreasing living space from west to east,high in the northeast and low in the southwest of the production space,and high in the south and low in the north and west of the ecological space.In terms of spatial transfer of "production-living-ecological" space,the accelerated pace of urbanization has led to significant changes in the spatial transfer of production to living space and ecological to living space,with Chengguan town as the center shifting to the surrounding area.With the help of the standard deviation ellipse and the center of gravity migration model,we can get that the standard deviation ellipse of production space in Kaiyang County changes from northwest-southeast trend to north-south trend,and the distribution of both living space and ecological direction was northwest-southeast trend,the center of gravity of production space moves to the east,the center of gravity of living space and ecological space moves to the west,and the center of gravity of all three types of space was located in Hot Spring Village of Chengguan Town.The univariate Moran index was used to analyze the spatial correlation of the "production-living-ecological" space,and the spatial changes of production,living and ecological spaces in Kaiyang County from 2009 to 2021 had significant positive clustering effects.Fourth,changes in the landscape pattern of "production-living-ecological" space.The landscape fragmentation of "production,living and ecological space" in Kaiyang County was serious,but the landscape dominance and diversity were gradually increased,and the landscape types were developed in the direction of balance.The patch type level was characterized by the increasing fragmentation of living space and the obvious landscape dominance of ecological space,and the development trend of aggregation.Fifth,driving mechanism of "production-living-ecological" space.Through quantitative analysis of spatial econometric regression model,it was found that the main drivers of spatial changes in production were factors such as elevation,slope,selenium content,and total grain yield;spatial changes in life were more influenced by distance from the county center,total output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,elevation,and slope;and the main drivers of spatial changes in ecology were elevation,selenium content,population density,slope,and distance from railroad.The coupling of natural geographic location,socio-economic and policy factors affected the formation and evolution of "production-living-ecological" space,and the multi-level compounding effects jointly construct the driving mechanism of the evolution of "production-living-ecological" space in Kaiyang County.Sixth,according to the distribution and combination of "production-living-ecological" space in Kaiyang County,different development strategies were proposed: Production space and living space needed to strengthen the dominant function,played the advantages,improved the efficiency of production space,improved the quality of living space,to achieve the coordinated development of the three functions;ecological space needed to strengthen the bottom line thinking,to protect the blue and green ecological space.
