| As a major inter-basin water transfer project in China,the South-North Water Transfer Project has made a great contribution to the rational development and redistribution of water resources in China,alleviating the water tension in the receiving area and greatly promoting the economic and social development of the receiving area,while at the same time,the industrial and agricultural industrial structure of the water source area has been adjusted in order to protect the water quality of the water source area.Therefore,it is necessary to further study the coupled economic-ecological development of the water source area to provide theoretical support for the sustainable development of the industrial structure and ecological environment in the water source area.Taking nine cities in the water source area of the South-North Water Diversion Project as the research object,we construct a comprehensive economic-ecological system evaluation index system and use a comprehensive evaluation model to measure the comprehensive development index of the economy and ecosystem in the water source area based on the entropy theory of physics;use the coupling degree model and coupling coordination degree model,based on Arc GIS platform,to analyze the economic-ecological coupling coordination relationship in the water source area from two-dimensional perspectives of time and space Quantitative analysis was conducted based on Arc GIS platform,and Pearson correlation analysis and gray correlation analysis were selected to measure the linear correlation between economy and ecosystem and the influencing factors of their coupling effects.The following research results were obtained:(1)The comprehensive development level of the economic system in the water source area achieved leapfrog growth from 2010 to 2020,with Xi’an,Shangluo,Baoji and Luoyang in obvious fluctuation conditions and the rest of the cities rising steadily.The comprehensive development level of the ecosystem has experienced a fluctuating rise,with the comprehensive development index rising from 0.447 in 2010 to 0.528 in 2020,with Xi’an City having the fastest comprehensive development of the ecosystem,with a rise of 79.95%,and Baoji City and Shiyan City showing a declining trend in ecological development level,with a decline of23.72% and 6.92%.2010-2013 The integrated ecological development indexes of Hanzhong,Baoji,Ankang,Shangluo,Shiyan,Nanyang and Sanmenxia all decreased to different degrees from 2010 to 2013,indicating that the ecological environment of the water source area is somewhat unstable due to the construction of the South-North Water Diversion Central Line Project.(2)From 2010 to 2020,the economic-ecological coupling coordination degree of the water source area continued to improve.In 2010,the economic-ecological coupling coordination degree of the water source area was 0.111,which was a serious disorder level,and by 2020,its value was 0.788,and the coordination level developed to an intermediate level,and the economic-ecological coordination development condition of the water source area gradually developed to a good level.From the perspective of spatial distribution,the initial level of economic-ecological coupling coordination in the water source area shows a distribution pattern centered on Shangluo City and Ankang City,with the western region higher than the eastern region,while the later level of coupling coordination in the water source area gradually develops into a distribution pattern centered on Xi’an,with the level radiating outward.(3)From the correlation analysis of the comprehensive economic and ecological development index and the coupling and coordination degree of the two,the results show that the comprehensive economic development index of the water source area is highly significantly and positively correlated with the total retail sales of social consumer goods per capita,gross domestic product per capita,disposable income per rural resident and labor productivity of the whole society,and is highly significantly and negatively correlated with the added value of secondary industry/added value of tertiary industry and the number of employed Pearsons in secondary industry/employed Pearsons in tertiary industry.The correlation with the value added of secondary industry/value added of tertiary industry and employment in secondary industry/employment in tertiary industry is highly significant.The ecological development index is negatively and significantly correlated with industrial waste gas emissions and industrial sulfur dioxide emissions.The economic-ecological coupling coordination is highly significantly and positively correlated with gross domestic product per capita,total retail sales of social consumer goods per capita,labor productivity of society,per capita domestic water consumption,population density,domestic waste disposal rate,per capita disposable income of rural residents,and landscaped area,and with value added of secondary industry/value added of tertiary industry,employment in secondary industry/employment in tertiary industry,industrial wastewater emission,industrial sulfur dioxide emission,and industrial greenhouse gas emission.emissions,industrial sulfur dioxide emissions,per capita arable land area,and per capita water resources are significantly negatively correlated.(4)To analyze the factors influencing the coupling coordination degree of water source areas,the highest coupling coordination degree correlation coefficient is the total retail sales of social consumer goods per capita(0.903),followed by gross domestic product per capita(0.898),social labor productivity(0.877),greening coverage of built-up areas(0.867),per capita domestic water consumption(0.864),harmless disposal rate of domestic waste(0.837),landscaped area(0.820),population density(0.822),utilization rate of industrial solid waste(0.810),etc.(0.837),per capita disposable income of rural residents(0.830),garden area(0.822),population density(0.820),industrial solid waste utilization rate(0.810),etc.The lowest coupling coordination correlation coefficient is industrial sulfur dioxide emissions(0.544),indicating that the factors affecting the coordinated economic-ecological development of the water source area are mainly economic development factors.Secondly,it is necessary to pay attention to ecological environment construction and reduce the ecological environment pressure brought by human activities. |
