| Green economy is an important part of China’s economic development in recent years,but green insurance in green finance has not found a suitable market position,and has been at a disadvantage in the financial market.There are many related researches on environmental pollution liability insurance,but at present,domestic and foreign scholars mainly analyze it from the aspects of macro-economy and institutional construction,and there are few researches on the individual aspects of micro-enterprises.This paper selects the data of listed companies in the heavy pollution industry from 2014 to2015 as the research object,matches the names of enterprises that have liability insurance for environmental pollution issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China in December 2014 and December 2015,and constructs a panel data model to analyze the relationship between liability insurance for environmental pollution and corporate solvency.The research shows that it is significantly negatively correlated with the solvency of enterprises.It will weaken the solvency of enterprises.On this basis,the enterprise’s ability to pay debts is weakened by reducing the cash flow of the enterprise.In comparison with state-owned enterprises,the effects of environmental liability insurance on the solvency of private companies is more significant.Finally,suggestions are put forward from the perspectives of the legislature,insurance companies,heavy pollution enterprises and the government.The analysis in this paper has theoretical basis and data support,which can provide more accurate suggestions and countermeasures for developing pollution liability insurance for the government,enterprises and other departments,and also provide new research ideas for other scholars’ research.Improving the environmental pollution liability insurance market is not only for enterprises,but also for the high-quality development of China’s economy. |
