Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS)is a cost-effective new thermoplastic resin,its good corrosion resistance and heat resistance mainly from its excellent size and structural stability,is widely used in a variety of functional films,coatings and composite materials.In addition,PPS has aroused great interest of researchers because of its high mechanical strength,high temperature resistance,chemical resistance,flame retardancy,water repellency and excellent electrical properties.However,when a single polyphenylene sulfide is used as a metal protective coating after high temperature calcination,its low viscosity and high brittleness limit the protective performance of the coating to a great extent.therefore,in the atmospheric corrosion environment,according to different environmental requirements and characteristics,it is imperative to find suitable nano-fillers to improve the performance of polyphenylene sulfide coating and to develop a multi-functional green coating with high efficiency and long-lasting anticorrosion.It is also the research focus to realize the application of polyphenylene sulfide protective coating.In this paper,polyphenylene sulfide and carboxylated polyphenylene sulfide(PPS-COOH)composites were prepared by adding different nano-fillers such as octadecylamine oxide graphene(GO-ODA),polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF),polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE),gaseous silica(SiO2),ammonium polyphosphate(APP)and hydrophobically modified bilayer hydroxide(LDH-F-St).To improve the performance of a single coating to meet the needs of practical applications.The main research contents of this paper can be summarized as follows:1.The low-dose octadecyl amine oxide graphene oxide nano-filler(GO-ODA)and polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)powder(8wt%of the total)were blended into the PPS-COOH matrix,and the GO-ODA/PODF/PPS-COOH anticorrosive coating was prepared by spraying method.The salt fog box test shows that the coating has high salt fog resistance.The impedance test and electromotive potential polarization curve in3.5wt%Na Cl solution show that the coating has excellent anti-corrosion performance,and its anti-corrosion efficiency is up to 99.99%.After soaking in different p H solutions,it is found that the coating also has good chemical stability.In different pollutant solutions,the coating shows good anti-fouling and self-cleaning performance because of the water repellent effect.2.A kind of anticorrosive superhydrophobic SiO2/GO-ODA/PTFE/PPS-COOH coating with self-cleaning performance was prepared on the surface of iron sheet by spraying method.The corrosion resistance of SiO2/GO-ODA/PTFE/PPS coating was evaluated by electrochemical and neutral salt spray tests.The corrosion resistance of SiO2/GO-ODA/PTFE/PPS coating was evaluated by electrochemical and neutral salt spray tests.The results showed that SiO2/GO-ODA/PTFE/PPS coating had excellent corrosion resistance,and the corrosion resistance efficiency was up to 99.998%.The results of testing in liquids with different surface tensors show that the coating has excellent anti-fouling performance.At the same time,the composite coating also has good self-cleaning performance.In addition,SiO2/GO-ODA/PTFE/PPS coating water contact Angle up to 153±1.5°,sliding Angle up to 4±1°,its excellent hydrophobicity and sliding can reduce pollutants,corrosion between the medium and the substrate material contact,help to inhibit fouling deposition and substrate corrosion,and due to the coating super-hydrophobicity,The passivation layer formed on the substrate can also provide long-term effective anti-corrosion protection for the metal,and the coating has certain floating ability.Therefore,this composite coating with self-cleaning,corrosion resistance and super hydrophobic properties has significant advantages in metal protection,and is expected to play an important role in the corrosion protection of different metal equipment and Marine appliances.3.Firstly,LDH-F was organically modified by sodium stearate to improve the hydrophobicity of the coating,and then the surface of the coating was hydrophobically modified with HDTMS to obtain a super-hydrophobic LDH-F-St/APP/PPS composite coating with excellent corrosion resistance.The super hydrophobic anticorrosive composite coating was prepared by simple spraying technology,and the successful synthesis of LDH-F-St material was proved by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),X-ray diffractometer(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The corrosion resistance of the composite coating was tested by electrochemical workstation,salt fog box and acid-alkaline solution.The results show that the composite coating has excellent anti-corrosion ability.In addition,the morphology and properties of the coating surface were characterized by SEM,AFM and contact angle tester.The results show that when the content of APP and LDH-F-St is 30wt%(LDH-F-St:APP=3:2),the surface of the composite coating has the best super hydrophobicity,the maximum water contact angle WCA=158±1°and the minimum slip angle SA=8±1°,indicating that the composite coating is super hydrophobic.At the same time,it is infiltrated by liquid with different surface tension.The results show that the coating has excellent anti-fouling and self-cleaning ability.
