Study On Environmental Health Management In Shuyang County

In recent years,the continuous development of society and economy in our country has brought great convenience to our lives.People have shifted their pursuit from material to humanistic environment,and have also put forward higher requirements for the comprehensive governance level of cities.As a third and fourth tier city,Shuyang County still lacks research on long-term management of urban environmental sanitation and solving difficult problems in environmental sanitation management.Therefore,exploring urban environmental sanitation management issues and applying relevant management theories to develop more comprehensive environmental sanitation management plans plays a positive role in improving residents’ satisfaction,reducing and preventing the occurrence of disease transmission,and also provides a good investment environment to further promote the development of urban economy.This study conducted field research on the current situation of environmental health management in the urban area of Shuyang County through literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interviews,and other research methods.Relevant data was collected,summarized,and integrated to gain a deeper understanding of the main practices adopted in the process of environmental health management in Shuyang County,as well as the achievements achieved in the reform of the environmental health management system,the quality of environmental sanitation and cleaning,and the recognition of urban residents towards environmental health management.Through one-on-one interviews with environmental sanitation management personnel,sanitation workers,and local citizens,questionnaire survey data analysis revealed some problems in the management process,such as inadequate cooperation from functional departments,inadequate supervision of sanitation management,insufficient enforcement of sanitation management,weak awareness of citizen participation in sanitation,and insufficient investment in sanitation infrastructure.The article deeply analyzes the reasons for the problems in the current environmental sanitation management in the urban area of Shuyang County,such as deficiencies in the coordination mechanism of functional departments,lack of long-term mechanisms for environmental sanitation management,imperfect regulations and systems for environmental sanitation management,inadequate government environmental sanitation publicity and education,and insufficient funds for environmental sanitation protection.Therefore,establishing a more specialized environmental sanitation management mechanism can not only improve the efficiency of environmental sanitation management,but also improve the quality of environmental sanitation and enhance the satisfaction of citizens.This study aims to integrate theory with practice,apply new public management theory,public participation theory,and urban governance theory,combined with the actual situation of environmental health management in the urban area of Shuyang County,draw on the theoretical achievements of economically developed regions at home and abroad and their advanced urban environmental health management concepts,conduct in-depth research on the development trend of urban environmental health management,and propose several countermeasures and suggestions: improve the comprehensive coordination management mechanism Improve the regulatory mechanism for urban appearance and environmental sanitation,improve laws and regulations in the field of environmental sanitation,cultivate public participation in environmental sanitation governance,and promote smart environmental sanitation management models.Exploring an effective path for environmental health management in Shuyang County through scientific management also has strong reference significance for environmental health management in other third and fourth tier cities.
