Hydraulic supports,as a commonly used advanced support equipment in coal mines,play an important role in maintaining the stability of the advancing working face,protecting the safety of workers,and ensuring efficient production of the working face.In this paper,aiming at the occurrence of roof caving accidents in the head of the comprehensive roadway and the problems of unbalanced support in traditional mining methods,a hydraulic combined support was designed and its mechanical characteristics were studied,providing support for practical engineering applications.Firstly,the mechanical characteristics of the roadway roof were analyzed,and the reasons for the formation of roof stress were explained.Based on the thin plate theory of elasticity,a mechanical model of the roof was established,and the criteria for determining the effective support of the roadway roof were obtained,thereby obtaining the working resistance of the hydraulic combined support.Based on a clear understanding of the working process of the hydraulic combined support,the hydraulic control system of the hydraulic combined support was designed,and the main hydraulic control circuits were simulated and analyzed using AMESim hydraulic simulation software.The variation laws of displacement,velocity,acceleration,and load characteristics during the operation of the main control circuits were obtained,verifying the stability of the hydraulic control system.Then,based on the design parameters obtained from the analysis,the structure of the hydraulic combined support was designed and studied.The design process of the main components,such as the roof beam and column of the hydraulic combined support,was explained,and the verification work was completed.ANSYS Workbench finite element analysis software was used to conduct static mechanical analysis of the designed hydraulic combined support under various extreme working conditions,and mechanical performance data of the overall hydraulic combined support and roof beam under various extreme working conditions were obtained.Finally,static mechanical experiments of the hydraulic combined support prototype and loading test bed were carried out,and the mechanical performance of the hydraulic combined support prototype under different working conditions in the experimental environment was obtained and analyzed.The experimental results were compared and analyzed with the simulation results data,verifying the rationality of the structure and support performance of the designed hydraulic combined support as an advanced support equipment.This thesis includes 90 Figures,7 tables,and 84 references.
