The contradiction between urban land expansion and ecological civilization construction has always been the focus and difficulty of high-quality urban development.Efficient ecological construction can be an important initiative to solve this dilemma,but there are no clear quantitative studies on the link between achieving efficient ecological construction and land use.Since ecosystem service assessment can directly reflect the results of ecological civilization construction,it is important to clarify the extent to which ecosystem services are influenced by land use changes,and to quantify and implement land use strategies as the focus of current ecological civilization construction research,in order to provide ideas and guidance for achieving the"double carbon"goal and sustainable development.The article firstly summarizes and integrates various land use factors affecting ecosystem services,sorts out the correlation between various land use factors and ecosystem services,analyzes the characteristics of various land use factors,and summarizes the important quantitative land use indicators affecting ecosystem services.Secondly,Xuzhou city was selected as the study area,and the model calculation method was used to account for ecosystem services and analyze the changes of land use and ecosystem services in the study area,so as to analyze the influence of land area factor and vegetation cover factor on ecosystem services of different land use types.The correlation analysis was conducted to check whether the correlation between ecosystem services of different land use types and land use area and vegetation cover was significant,and then combined with the concept of efficiency threshold,the results of land use area and vegetation cover thresholds for achieving efficient ecosystem services were obtained.In view of this,the land optimization strategy to achieve efficient ecosystem services is proposed,and land use related suggestions are provided for the realization of efficient ecological construction in Xuzhou.As the central city in the Huaihai Economic Zone,Xuzhou City is representative of its physical geographic environment characteristics.The article takes Xuzhou City as the study area,hoping to provide a reference for solving land use conflicts and balancing urban development and ecological construction in the Huaihai Economic Zone urban agglomeration.The results of the study are as follows:(1)Urban expansion is not conducive to the enhancement of ecosystem services.The increase of man-made surface area mainly depends on the transfer of surrounding arable land and grassland area,then urban expansion mainly relies on the occupation of surrounding arable land and grassland and other land.Carbon sequestration,sedimentation reduction and water connotation services were all enhanced in the study area,and the ecological construction achieved different effects in carbon sequestration,sedimentation reduction and water connotation in each district.The ecosystem service capacity of the main urban area is relatively weak.(2)Ecosystem services of different land use types are correlated with area and vegetation cover.The carbon sequestration services of cropland,grassland and man-made surface are correlated with area and vegetation cover;the sedimentation reduction services of cropland and grassland are correlated with area and vegetation cover;the water connotation services of cropland and man-made surface are correlated with area and vegetation cover;the water connotation services of grassland and water are only correlated with area;the ecosystem services of cropland,grassland,water and man-made surface are correlated with area and vegetation cover;the ecosystem services of cropland,grassland,water and man-made surface are correlated with area and vegetation cover.Ecosystem services of cropland,grassland,water and man-made surface are all correlated with area and vegetation cover.(3)Ecosystem services can be improved by optimizing the size of area and vegetation cover.Since urban area is limited,ecosystem services can be enhanced through efficient ecological construction.In order to achieve efficient carbon sequestration,the single area of arable land and grassland should not exceed 577.18hm~2 and 383.40 hm~2 respectively and the vegetation cover should reach 56.75%and42.75%respectively.In order to achieve efficient sedimentation reduction,the area of arable land and grassland should not exceed 564.47 hm~2 and 49.33 hm~2 respectively,and the vegetation coverage should reach 52.00%and 46.00%respectively.In order to achieve efficient water containment,the area of arable land,grassland,water,and man-made surface single block should not exceed 523.56 hm~2,420.54 hm~2,671.29 hm~2,and766.77 hm~2 respectively,and the vegetation coverage of arable land should reach38.00%.In order to achieve efficient ecosystem services,the surface single block areas of cultivated land,grassland,water,and man-made land shall not exceed 204.85 hm~2,155.60 hm~2,136.98 hm~2,and 2,080.48 hm~2 respectively and the vegetation coverage of cultivated land and grassland shall reach 53.00%and 42.00%respectively.
