In order to cope with the climate change brought by high carbon emissions,countries have taken relevant measures to reduce carbon emissions.Because low-cost emission reduction technologies are mainly concentrated in urban construction,which can help reduce carbon emissions,low-carbon urban design has gradually become an important way for countries around the world to carry out low-carbon emission reduction.At the same time,under the background of "double carbon" goal,urban design needs to transform to low carbon and energy saving.Based on the existing lowcarbon oriented urban design experience,this study found that coal mining subsidence waters have great advantages in low-carbon oriented urban design: abundant clean energy can facilitate energy transformation,abundant water resources and aquatic animals and plants can improve regional microclimate and increase natural carbon sink.In addition,urban design in the sunken waters can solve many existing problems in the sunken waters,such as the deterioration of ecological environment,the decline of residents’ living standards,the loss of regional vitality,and the low return rate of the existing governance methods.Based on the above background,this study proposes to carry out low-carbon urban design in the coal mining subsidence waters.Based on the relevant theories of urban design and architecture,this study comprehensively adopts literature research and analysis,comparative induction method and computer simulation technology to conduct systematic research on the relevant basic theories,design basic conditions,design methods and strategies,design implementation schemes,design energy consumption test and other aspects.As a typical coal resource-based city,Huainan has been confined to a large number of idle coal mining subsidence waters for a long time.Therefore,this study takes the subsidence waters of Zhangji mining area in Fengtai County,Huainan mining area as an example to establish a low-carbon urban design scheme integrating innovation and entrepreneurship,ecological community,leisure and entertainment,cultural tourism and other functions.To provide a certain reference for the realization of "double carbon" goal,low-carbon oriented urban design and subsidence area governance,explore the realization path of low-carbon urban design in coal mining subsidence waters,in order to provide a certain theoretical support and reference basis for the solution of related problems.The main research results are as follows:(1)The theoretical basis of low-carbon urban design in coal-mining subsidence waters is preliminarily established,and relevant research on the design basic conditions is carried out and the necessity and feasibility of its construction is analyzed.(2)Combining the carbon emission factors in urban design and the characteristics of coal mining subsidence waters,the low-carbon urban design methods and strategies of coal mining subsidence waters are proposed,design objectives and principles are set,and design strategies and contents are proposed.(3)Put forward a low-carbon oriented urban design implementation scheme for the coal mining subsidence waters of Huainan Mining area: according to the water environment and geological characteristics of the subsidence waters,the design and selection of the base and the upper body are carried out,and the low-carbon urban design and construction planning of the coal mining subsidence waters is carried out and the design is expressed in drawings.(4)Based on software simulation and retrograde energy consumption test of urban design of coal-mining subsidence waters in Huainan mining area,carbon emissions and energy consumption of low-carbon urban design scheme of coal-mining subsidence waters were quantitatively analyzed,and compared with urban design scheme of the same scale under conventional conditions to verify the low-carbon effectiveness of such urban design.
