Oriented particleboard as a decorative board has been widely used in Europe and the United States,but its popularization is limited in China due to its low popularity and the surface characteristics of domestically produced oriented particleboard cannot meet the aesthetic needs of Chinese people.However,the characteristics of wood on its surface still make it used in domestic wood workshops,exhibition cabinet background boards,stadium waiting areas and other areas.Oriented particle board is a category with promising development prospects but has not yet adapted to Chinese aesthetic taste.Therefore,in order to make oriented particleboard more meet the Chinese aesthetic,meet the high quality oriented particleboard widely promoted and used.This study takes directional particle board sliding door as the carrier,studies the visual and tactile characteristics of directional particle board sliding door,refines the visual and tactile elements that can cater to Chinese people,and designs a directional particle board sliding door as the design verification,which can meet the aesthetic needs of most people and improve the acceptance of directional particle board sliding door.Based on the research and analysis of the current market situation,the basic product information of the category was extracted,and the three-level elements of oriented particleboard sliding door based on the market were determined by focus group interview.The visual test image of directional particleboard sliding door was made by means of actual shooting and digital processing.The visual elements with influential ability were determined by combining with the experiment of eye tracker,and the correlation analysis of visual elements was carried out.The tactile elements that affect the evaluation of participants are obtained through the touch experiment,and the correlation analysis of these elements is carried out.Through focus group interview analysis of important people in various stages of product development,20 factors influencing the application of directional particleboard sliding door in indoor scenes and promotion in the market are obtained.In order to improve people’s acceptance of directional particleboard sliding door,the first thing is the visual impression of directional particleboard sliding door,followed by the tactile impression.Then there are all kinds of other factors related to its long-term existence in the market.Among the 20 product elements,which affect the visual and tactile characteristics of directional particleboard sliding door are: transparent paint and colored paint choice;Surface gloss;Dimension of planer for directional particleboard.By using digital technology to form the sliding door body of directional particleboard planer,the eye tracker experiment is conducted to understand that changing the surface planer size of directional particleboard is not an important factor that affects people’s subjective evaluation of it visually.Some specific colors can enhance the perception of planer size on the surface of directional particleboard sliding doors,while in most color groups,there is no strong aesthetic correlation between directional particleboard sliding doors with different sizes of directional planers.By changing the surface gloss of the directional particleboard sliding door,in terms of visual perception,the aesthetic evaluation score of most colors will not be improved or decreased,but in a few colors,the aesthetic evaluation score can be improved slightly.The change of color on the surface of directional particleboard could significantly affect the average pupil diameter of participants,and there was a negative correlation between average pupil diameter and participants’ subjective evaluation.Applying the directional particle board sliding door to the tonal plate in PCCS system,it is found that people’s aesthetic evaluation of the directional particle board sliding door will decrease with the decrease of brightness,while the aesthetic evaluation score will be lower as the tone trend of white tone > bright tone > pure tone becomes closer to pure tone.Touch experiment is used to explore the relationship between the three dimensions of perception and emotional changes caused by tactile sensation of directional particleboard sliding door and its own physical quantity,so as to determine the surface features that can improve touch sensation.The perception ability of female to directional particleboard flatness change is stronger than that of male,using sandpaper to scrub the sample can slightly reduce its surface stickiness,using paint film can greatly improve its surface stickiness,different paint film has different effects on the stickiness;Untreated sample is defined as tactile is not hard,but it can be polished with sandpaper to improve the hardness of its surface,the sample with paint film,according to its surface treatment process is different,its surface hardness is different.The size of the planer on the surface of the oriented particleboard sample had no correlation with the participants’ preference for their sense of touch.For female participants,the perception of the change of the surface paint film is more obvious.For the sense of the surface of the oriented particleboard without paint film,participants prefer to use high-precision sandpaper samples.Both men and women prefer tactile,flat surfaces;Female consumers preferred hard surface samples,while male participants preferred harder surface samples only in the uncoated samples.The hardness of the coated samples was not the main factor affecting male preference.There was a negative correlation between male participants’ perception of stickiness and their liking for stickiness.The stickier the surface was,the more likely it was to cause men’s aversion.However,there was a strong negative correlation between female participants’ evaluation of stickiness only on the surface without paint film and their liking for the sample.
