Yarn breakage is inevitable in textile work.To reduce yarn consumption and improve efficiency in production,the stop-testing machine in time after yarn breakage.Aims at study the low sensitivity and small sensing area of photoelectric single eye source yarn breakage detection device.Based on the photoelectric sensor technology,the binocular-lightsource-structure yarn breakage detection system is developed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)It is of important significance for yarn-breakage detection based on discovering the process and reason of yarn breakage.Combining the work of previous research and market report,the advantages and disadvantages of the broken yarn detection technology and the research status are studied deeply,and further research on the most widely used photoelectric sensing yarn breakage detection technology.(2)Based on the theoretical analysis of the shortcomings of the photoelectric single eye source structure,combining with the structure of the light source used for yarn information detection,the binocular-light-source structure is put forward to increase the detection induction area.By establishing the optical model,the dimension of binocular-light-source structure is designed and its rationality is verified.(3)According to the functional requirements of actual yarn breaking detection,the software and hardware system of yarn breaking detection is constructed.Then based on the photoelectric sensor technology,the binocular-lightsource structure yarn break detection system is designed by using the differential operational amplifier input method.Completed the selection of components and circuit design of each functional module of the hardware system,At the same time,the PCB of the yarn break detection system was designed,proofed,patched and tested.(4)Combined with the working characteristics of the winder and the conveying state of yarn,the experimental platform was designed and built.By testing the matching degree of transmitter and receiver,the rationality of the theoretical analysis of binocular light source structure is verified.For1000 Hz yarn signal,the response time of yarn detection and yarn break detection is 0.5ms and 0.8ms,respectively.The response time of yarn break is 0.5ms higher than that of traditional monocular structure.The experiment results show that the best installation Angle α of binocular-light-source structure yarn breaking detection system is 90°,the best detection area is the intersection area of unilateral and dual induction zone,and the minimum detection yarn swing amplitude is 1mm.The minimum detection yarn swing amplitude is 2mm higher than that of the traditional monocular structure.For 10 thick polyester yarns,the maximum yarn breaking speed can be detected at 1200m/min,which is 200m/min higher than that of the traditional monocular structure.And then the practical application of the binocular-light-source structure yarn breakage detection system has shown good performance and great engineering application value.
