Research On The Impact Of Green Transformation Development On Enterprise Performance

The "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" points out that we should adhere to the concept that Green development contributes to economic development,adhere to respect,adapt to and protect nature,implement the sustainable development strategy,encourage green development in all industries,and build a green China.At the same time,we solemnly put forward the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutralization.As an important industry closely related to the national economy and the people’s livelihood,nonferrous metals is also a key industry for energy conservation,emission reduction and carbon reduction.For the nonferrous metals industry,the requirements for green transformation are more urgent.The development of green transformation is the only way for nonferrous metals enterprises to achieve sustainable development in the future,and green transformation will inevitably affect the relevant performance of enterprises.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the impact of green transformation development on enterprise performance.Chalco is a leading enterprise in China’s nonferrous metal industry.Since 2016,it has been carrying out green transformation and development.Through multidimensional carbon reduction approaches such as production carbon reduction,technology carbon reduction and management carbon reduction,it has built a green management system,strengthened green capacity building and promoted green transformation of enterprises.This paper combed the domestic and foreign literature on green transformation and enterprise performance,and analyzed the impact of green transformation development on enterprise performance with the theory of sustainable development,green development and circular economy as the theoretical support and Chalco as the research object.First of all,after introducing the enterprise profile of Chalco,the development background and transformation process of Chalco’s green transformation are briefly described;Secondly,from the production side,R&D side and management side,the impact path of green transformation development of Chalco on enterprise performance is studied;In terms of corporate financial performance,this paper chooses to evaluate the impact of green transformation on it from the perspective of effect and efficiency.It uses traditional financial performance evaluation methods to analyze the changes in financial performance before and after the transformation of Aluminum Corporation of China.At the same time,it selects an industry enterprise to compare and analyze the impact effect,and selects EVA performance evaluation methods to evaluate efficiency;In the aspect of non-financial performance,this paper analyzes the changes of carbon performance and market performance during the green transformation of enterprises through carbon performance evaluation system and event research method.This study found that the green transformation of Chalco has brought about an all-round improvement in its financial performance.In terms of non-financial performance,the improvement effect of carbon performance is relatively significant,and the improvement of market performance has a certain lag.This shows that the development of green transformation has an improving effect on enterprise performance.Based on the above conclusions,the corresponding suggestions are put forward to Chalco: strengthen the construction of green capacity,build a green corporate culture,and improve the transformation efficiency.It also provides corresponding enlightenment for nonferrous metal industry enterprises: increase green R&D investment and strengthen the cultivation of cleaner production capacity;At the government level,suggestions are put forward to improve the standardization and enthusiasm of the green development of non-ferrous metal enterprises.This study further enriched the theoretical system of green transformation development of nonferrous metal enterprises,supplemented the relevant content of carbon performance and its evaluation system,and enriched the theoretical content of enterprise performance evaluation.
