With the development of machining equipment and high efficiency machining tool technology,high speed machining is a kind of high technology which gradually matures and occupies an important position in the field of machining step by step.In terms of materials,the high temperature nickel-based alloy material has good mechanical properties,wide usability,easy to mechanical processing,and wear resistance,corrosion resistance,excellent oxidation resistance.Due to the excellent properties of superalloy materials,it is more and more applied in various industries,so it is of great significance to study the cutting performance and cutting theory of nickel-based superalloy.In this paper,by combining milling simulation and milling experiment,the cutting characteristics of milling under various factors were analyzed,and finally the purpose of improving the machining quality of milling nickel-based superalloy was achieved.Specifically,it includes the following aspects:Firstly,the finite element simulation of milling nickel-based superalloy was carried out by orthogonal test method,and the wear amount and wear rate of the wear strip width of the back tool face were obtained.Secondly,the range analysis of the results of milling simulation is carried out to obtain the primary and secondary order of cutting parameters and the optimal scheme.The primary and secondary order of influencing wear rate from large to small is feed per tooth,cutting speed and back cutting quantity.The single factor simulation test was carried out to analyze the influence of different cutting parameters on the residual stress and milling temperature field,and the results were analyzed.Finally,the purpose of improving the machining quality of high speed milling nickel-based superalloy was achieved.Then use the experimental analysis to verify the reasonable finite element simulation model,and use the experiment to do the same parameters of the orthogonal test and single factor test,the experimental data and the simulation value were compared and analyzed to get the correctness of the simulation model,and get the tool wear rate and milling temperature analysis results,draw a conclusion.Finally,the vibration characteristics of milling were analyzed.Through modal analysis and harmonious response analysis,the milling cutter was simulated,and the first six natural frequencies and corresponding vibration shapes of the milling cutter under the working modes were obtained.The natural frequencies were verified that the milling cutter would not resonate with the machine tool,which provided a basis for the selection of vibration amplitude and vibration frequency parameters in the subsequent finite element simulation.Avoid the occurrence of resonance phenomenon.Based on the tool vibration in X direction and Y direction and the simultaneous vibration in X direction and Y direction,the modal simulation analysis of 2D milling vibration simulation is carried out,which provides a theoretical basis for the vibration characteristics analysis of milling system.
