GH4169 is nickel-based superalloy.There exist high strength,strong corrosion resistance,and excellent thermal and thermal fatigue properties.With good oxidation resistance and thermal stability,it maintains good physical and mechanical properties at temperatures approaching 1000°C,therefore it widely used in aviation,aerospace,and atomic energy industries.It is commonly used in the manufacture of heat-resistant parts such as discs and blades for aero engines and gas turbines.With the rapid development of the domestic electric power industry and the establishment of large-scale power stations,the demand for steam turbines has continued to increase.GH4169 is a typical hard-to-machine material.It has severe work hardening and poor thermal conductivityand poor cutting workability.The formation of chips,cutting force,etc.all have unique rules,cutting efficiency is low,which severely restricts its wide application.High-efficiency cutting of GH4169 is an urgent problem to be solved in the manufacturing industry.Therefore,the study of cutting GH4169 high-efficiency cutting technology has important theoretical significance and broad application value.This paper mainly analyzes the cutting performance of GH4169 from the perspective of cutting force and chip shape.First,a series of cutting experiments were carried out using different cutting speeds and feed rates to obtain chipping root gold images of different cutting parameters.Secondly,the cutting simulation is performed under the same cutting parameter settings to obtain the entire cutting process under different cutting parameters.Finally,the cutting force and chip shape of the experimental and cutting simulations were compared and analyzed to study its chip formation process and cutting force variation,and to compare and analyze the different cutting parameters on the shape of the chip and the size of the cutting force.The influence of the cutting parameters on the cutting process is analyzed.The research results are conducive to the optimization of cutting parameters,and can be used to guide the actual production of enterprises,improve their economic benefits,and enhance their competitiveness.
