| In 2022,the global copper resources development has reached 22 million tons/year,the development and utilization of copper sulphide ore can no longer meet the market demand,oxidized copper ore has become the main source of copper resources.In this paper,a new combined trap was developed for high oxidation rate and high binding rate oxidized copper ore,and the mechanism of the combined trap was studied by pure mineral flotation tests.(1)A study on the nature of a copper oxide ore in Niger shows that the original copper grade is 6.04%,with only 2.98%copper sulphide and 97.02%copper oxide,of which 65.07%is free copper oxide and 31.95%is bound copper oxide,which is a high oxidation rate and high binding rate of copper oxide ore.The main copper-bearing minerals in the ore are malachite,bluecopperite and silica malachite,with a small proportion of hematite and chalcopyrite,etc.;the vein minerals mainly include plagioclase,potassium feldspar and quartz,etc.(2)The combined trap HMD was developed,and the effect of sodium sulphide dosage,sulphuration time,pine alcohol oil dosage and trap dosage on the flotation of malachite was studied through micro-flotation tests on the pure mineral of malachite,and a better chemical system and process parameters were obtained.The optimum malachite recovery of 92.57%was obtained at p H=9.2,sodium sulphide dosage of5mg/L,sulphuration time of 120s,pine alcohol oil dosage of 9mg/L and combined trap HMD dosage of 1.09mg/L.The combined trap HMD consisted of butyl yellow,butyl ammonium black and MCO in the mass ratio of 6:5:3.(3)The mechanism of the action of the combined trap on malachite was studied.The combined trap HMD can increase the contact angle of malachite,which effectively improves the hydrophobicity of malachite;Zeta potential shows that the combined trap HMD has a greater potential shift and is easier to adsorb on the surface of malachite;The adsorption amount measurement shows that the combined trap HMD has a more obvious adsorption effect on the surface of malachite;The XPS detection indicates that the Cu 2p and S 2p orbitals are shifted on the surface of malachite,and it is possible that Cu+or Cu2+is formed,which will form Cu S or Cu2S substances with S2-.(4)A flotation test study was conducted on this copper oxide ore.Under the conditions of 60%fineness of grinding,4000g/t of sodium sulphide,50g/t of MCO,70g/t of butyl yellow drug and 30g/t of butyl ammonium black drug,three times of coarse separation was carried out and the coarse concentrate was combined to obtain a copper concentrate product with a Cu grade of 28.21%and a recovery of 63.75%.Sulphuric acid leaching was carried out on the copper flotation tailings,and the copper tailings leaching rate reached 91.15%under the conditions of solid to liquid ratio of 1:3,sulphuric acid concentration of 4%and leaching time of 120 min.The total copper recovery of the ore reached 92.88%,which is a more satisfactory recovery.Comparing the flotation-leaching process with the direct leaching process,it can be seen that the flotation-leaching process is more effective than the direct leaching process and has a higher copper recovery rate. |
