| In the transformation of the furniture manufacturing industry from traditional mass production to digital and intelligent production,the control of key processes in the furniture manufacturing process is an important part of ensuring product quality,among which edge banding is one of the most common processes that generate quality problems.Due to the many factors that affect edge banding quality,traditional edge banding quality control is complex in terms of analyzing its causes,and there are also problems such as repeated labor occupation in daily quality inspection.The use of Statistical Process Control(SPC)quality control methods can quickly identify production anomalies and production process capabilities,effectively improving product quality.This paper mainly focuses on the SPC quality control tool,using 18 mm artificial veneer board as the research object,and analyzing the actual production status and pain points of furniture production company S,to study the edge banding quality control method.The specific research results are as follows:(1)A literature review was conducted on the existing edge banding quality control methods for panel furniture.Through the analysis and summary of 634 domestic and foreign literature,data visualization and clustering analysis were carried out using Citespace software.The results showed that the current research on edge banding quality is mostly focused on the type of edge banding glue and strength,with few studies using data statistical tools to improve production quality.(2)The theory of SPC quality control tools was analyzed.It was clarified that SPC applies to the process control of furniture edge banding processes,and the types and scope of use of process map tools were classified,forming the steps of statistical control of edge banding board processes and a process flowchart was drawn.(3)The method and standards for inspecting the quality of edge banding boards were studied.Firstly,the inspection of the appearance quality of edge banding boards was clarified,including edge banding sequence,edge banding color,specification,finished product size,edge breakage,edge leakage,edge banding glue line,pinhole,gap,etc.;secondly,the physical and chemical properties of edge banding boards were experimentally studied,including cold and hot cycle resistance,high-temperature resistance,water absorption thickness expansion rate,and edge banding peeling force.(4)The above test results were compared and analyzed based on SPC.Different control charts were selected according to the characteristics of the test data.Counting control charts were applied to the inspection of appearance quality,cold and hot cycle resistance,and high temperature resistance tests,while measurement control charts were applied to the water absorption thickness expansion rate and edge banding peeling force tests.Different types of quality control charts were used,and process capability indices were used to monitor and analyze the measurement control charts,to achieve process stability and continuous improvement.(5)The production factors that affect edge banding quality were analyzed and improvement methods were proposed.The main reasons for the unqualified appearance quality were delayed conveyor belts and short edges caused by residual glue on the pressure roller.The improvement measures were to conduct regular inspections and cleaning by shift rotation.The two main reasons for the unqualified edge banding peeling force were that the glue roller was not perpendicular to the board surface and the pressure of the pressure roller was insufficient,resulting in uneven glue application and low edge banding strength.By improving these two factors,the CPK of edge banding peeling force was increased from the original 0.53 to 1.04,making the overall quality acceptable. |
