There are five chapters in this paper.The first chapter is the part of review that including the overview of anti-coronavirus,anti-dengue virus and anti-influenza virus activities about the Chinese medicinal herbs for relieving heat and toxic material.Chapters 2 is consisted of the chemical constituents from Verbena officinalis L.and their anti-virus activities.Chapter 3 is formed of the chemical constituents from Elsholtzia densa Benth and their anti-influenza virus activity.Chapter 4 is made up of two parts that was the constituents from Andrographis paniculate(Birm.f.)Ness and their activities of anti-dengue(DENV-2)virus.The last chapter is the part of summarization and prospect.V.officinalis belongs to the family Verbenaceae and is mainly distributed in Yunnan,Tibet,Sichuan and Guangdong provinces,which enjoy long history in the use of folk medicine.The aerial parts of V.officinalis,as a traditional Chinese medicine,have been extensively utilized for the treatment of cold,sore throat,bronchitis or rheumatism.In this study,a variety of separation methods and identification techniques were used to obtain and identify the compounds from V.officinalis.And we obtained37 compounds,which were mainly triterpenoids.Officinalisoids A-C were ursulane-type triterpenes and officinalisoid D was dammarane-type triterpene.Compound 21 and23 were evaluated for the anti-coronavirus(HCo V-OC43)activity and compound 1-4,11,12,15,20,23,29 and compound 23 were tested the anti-dengue virus(DENV-2)activity.The results showed that compound 23 had the potential activity of anti-coronavirus(HCo V-OC43)with the IC50 value of 10.30±2.80μM and compound 11had moderate activity of anti-dengue virus(DENV-2)with the IC50 value of 24.55μM.As a member of Lamiaceae family,E.densa is widely distributed in Yunnan,Tibet and Qinghai provinces,which is usually used to treat aversion cold and fever,headache or edema inadequate urination.A total of 17 compounds were isolated from E.densa,and there were identified as triterpenoids,flavonoids and lignans.A new compound isolated from E.densa,named edensaoside A,was belongs to prenylated 3-benzoxepin derivatives.We tested the anti-influenza virus(H1N1)activity of compounds 1-3,5-13,16-17 from E.densa.The results showed that compound 10 had moderate activity of anti-influenza(H1N1)with the IC50 values of 18.79±0.06μM.A.paniculate belongs to the family Acanthaceae and mainly distributed in Yunnan,Guangxi and Guangdong provinces,which is wildly used to treat cold,fever,sore throat,phthisical cough and dysentery.We isolated and identified 15 compounds from A.paniculate.We tested the anti-dengue virus(DENV-2)activity of compound 1-4,and compound 6,but only compound 4 exhibite little anti-dengue virus activities with the IC50value of 62.00μM.In the later exploration,we will test the anti-coronavirus(HCo V-OC43)activity of other compounds from V.officinalis and explore deeper about the chemical constituents of A.paniculate and also focuses more on the anti-dengue virus activity of diterpene lactones that isolated from A.paniculate. |
