Sand control screen is an important part of mechanical sand control technology and equipment.It plays an important role in sand control and blockage prevention for oil and gas production in loose sandstone reservoirs.The slotted screen studied in this paper has the smallest opening area among the screens and is widely used.It is used in oil wells with larger sand diameters,and is usually used as a liner in multi-structure precision screens.In the process of downhole and sand control,the screen tube is subjected to different degrees of confining pressure,which is easy to cause the screen tube to deform and fail,damage and collapse.For oil and gas wells with serious sand production problems,many precision screens have been proposed and developed abroad to deal with the more serious sand production problems under different conditions,and new structural designs have been carried out based on different sand control screens as base pipes or liners.Compared with foreign countries,the domestic development in this aspect is relatively late,and the relevant theories of screens and the design method of slotted parameters are not systematic,which makes my country’s sand control efficiency for oil and gas wells with serious sand production problems not high.Therefore,the strength research of the downhole sand control screen and the data method of the response surface and quadratic regression equation,combined with the finite element simulation analysis to master the strength of the slotted screen can provide reliable data support and theory for the technological innovation of the screen Support is of great significance to the development of sand control technology for oil wells in my country.Based on the structure of the cut-off screen,this paper firstly analyzes the stress of the cutoff screen according to the theory of elastic mechanics,and establishes the finite element calculation model,element type and various parameters;The stress of the pipe is simulated and calculated,and the influence of the four main parameters of the screen((1)slit width(2)slit angle(3)slit number(4)slit length)on the mechanical properties of the slot screen is analyzed.According to the simulation results,we get The stress distribution law of slotted screens with different structures;third,the orthogonal test method is used to find the most representative 18 models,paving the way for quantifying the relationship between the four variables and the strength of the screens,and then using genetic algorithms The mathematical model calculates the weight of each parameter,optimizes the structure of the slotted screen,and provides a theoretical basis for improving the strength and sand control performance of the screen;fourth,finally introduces the application example of the screen in the long-stop well with high water content and serious sand production.Field application proves the correctness and reliability of parameter optimization of slotted screens based on the theories and methods provided in this article.In this paper,theoretical analysis and finite element analysis are carried out for the slotted screen to provide data support for the site.The stress distribution law can find the weak link of the screen to effectively prevent it;based on the genetic algorithm,a detailed modeling of the slotted screen parameters is proposed.And ideas to provide data support and solutions for the future development trend of multi-unit and structured mechanical sand control.
