As a universal grinding and crushing equipment,ball mills have become one of the essential equipment in the cement,metallurgical,and power industries.Due to the special working principle of the ball mill,the collision between the steel balls and material blocks in the cylinder during operation causes significant noise pollution.With the increasing demand for a better living environment,noise problems can cause irreversible harm to the physical and mental health of workers who have been exposed to noise for a long time.At present,there are defects in the noise reduction effect of wrapping sound insulation materials and establishing sound insulation covers for ball mills,which are not conducive to heat dissipation,and inconvenient for later maintenance.Therefore,establishing a detachable sound insulation room with suitable internal temperature has high practicality and provides a solution for noise control of other mechanical equipment in the industry,which has practical engineering significance.The main research content of this article is to study the sound insulation performance,temperature field,and flow field distribution of a phosphate iron powder ball mill sound insulation room in a factory building of a certain company in Henan province.Firstly,Solid Works was used to establish a three-dimensional structural model of a multi-layer composite acoustic structure composed of porous plates,porous materials,and thin steel plates.The acoustic performance of the composite structure was analyzed using COMSOL software,and the influence of the thickness,hole diameter,and hole rate of the composite structure components of the porous plate on the structural acoustic performance was explored.A porous plate thickness of 1mm was selected.The composite structure with an optimal material parameter of 0.04 hole ratio and a hole diameter of 1mm,as well as the arrangement of the porous material behind it,was used as the specific implementation method of the sound insulation unit and the physical processing of the sound insulation unit was carried out.Secondly,analyze the complex actual working environment around the ball mill,collect noise values from various measurement points near the ball mill,and measure the maximum noise pressure level around the ball mill to be 104.5d B.Establish a three-dimensional steel structure model of the sound insulation room and determine the type of steel used.Design and establish soundproof doors and soundproof louvers for soundproof rooms,study the sealing measures of soundproof doors,and determine the specific installation location of soundproof louvers.Then,this article establishes a finite element model of the ball mill and sound insulation room with simplified physical geometry structure.The pressure velocity coupling algorithm was used in the FLUENT module of Ansys software to conduct steady-state research on the coupling field of temperature and flow field in the sound insulation room.The heat distribution in the room under thermal pressure natural ventilation and mechanical forced ventilation was analyzed,and the results show that the heat dissipation in the room was slow under natural ventilation,The phenomenon of"reverse flow"of gas at the inlet and outlet boundaries does not meet engineering requirements.When mechanical forced ventilation was applied,the room temperature drops to 29.8℃,and the temperature inside the room was suitable and the ventilation was smooth.Finally,based on the Statics steady state analysis,the strength of the steel structure of the sound insulation room was checked.Referring to the current building structure load specification,the maximum ash load of ferrophosphorus powder on the roof of the sound insulation room was 289.71N/m~2,which was less than the standard value of the roof load of1k N/m^2.The maximum stress of the overall structure was calculated to be 162MPa,and the strength meets the safety requirements.Collect the noise value data of the measurement points around the completed sound insulation room,and the average sound pressure level at 1m outside the sound insulation room was 83.8d B,meeting the enterprise’s requirement of less than85d B.The total design and construction cost of the sound insulation room was 180400 yuan.The smooth establishment of the sound insulation room for the ball mill provides a reference for noise reduction of other mechanical equipment in the same industry,which has practical engineering significance.
