Research On Intelligent Fire Extinguishing Product Design In Old Communities Based On Contextual Awareness Theory

With the rapid development of modern society,the Internet of Things technology is widely applied in various industries,and intelligent products can be seen everywhere in our lives,subtly influencing people’s living habits.With the advancement of technology,traditional fire extinguishing products are gradually moving towards a trend of humanization and intelligence.The main problem to be solved in this project is how to consider the user’s situation,identify their pain points,understand their needs,and provide them with a proactive interactive experience in a fire extinguishing product.Introducing situational awareness theory and combining with the current situation of disaster prevention in old communities,we apply and design intelligent fire extinguishing products suitable for old communities,aiming to provide users with a smoother interactive experience and explore new ideas for disaster prevention work in old communities.This article first investigates the trend of intelligent development in old communities,the unprecedented application of situational awareness theory,and the urgent need for intelligent fire extinguishing products in old communities.The background of this topic is elaborated.Through extensive literature research and online surveys,understand the relevant theories of situational awareness and the development status of intelligent fire extinguishing products,and analyze the necessity and value of applying situational awareness theory to intelligent fire extinguishing products.Secondly,relevant research will be conducted on old communities,including the current situation of fire protection in the community,equipment conditions,and user needs.Based on situational awareness theory,scenario construction and deduction will be carried out to deeply explore user needs.Simultaneously applying situational awareness theory to design strategies,corresponding design strategies and processes are proposed for software and hardware design practices from user,environment,and task contexts.The final design practice of this article takes the intelligent fire extinguisher as an example in the hardware end,and the "Fire Eye" old community one-stop fire comprehensive service platform as an example in the software end to complete the combination of theory and practice.The interactive use of software and hardware to construct an intelligent fire extinguishing product based on situational awareness.Starting from the user,environment,and task context,the software and hardware work together to meet the needs of users in different contexts to the greatest extent possible.At the same time,it also confirms the practical significance and value of the application of situational awareness theory in the field of intelligent fire extinguishing products.
