Research On The Impact Of Green Technology Innovation On Ecological Efficiency

In the context of China’s economy entering a new stage of high-quality development,strengthening ecological civilization construction and promoting all-round green transformation of economic and social development,adhering to the concept of ecological priority and green development and vigorously developing green circular economy will help China to take the initiative in long-term economic and social development and meet people’s demands for a highquality ecological environment.Green technology innovation aims to achieve green development,prioritizes ecology as a value orientation,follows ecological principles and the law of green circular economy,and is conducive to resource conservation,environmental protection and sustainable development.Green technology innovation will provide important technical support for high-quality development,ecological civilization construction and green development.This paper chooses ecological efficiency as an indicator for the coordinated development of economy,resource and ecological environment,and researches the action mechanism and conduction path of green technological innovation on ecological efficiency.It is of great theoretical and practical significance for our country to coordinate economic development and environmental protection and realize green and sustainable development.This article follows the research approach of theoretical analysis,model construction,empirical testing,and clear conclusions to study the relationship between green technology innovation and ecological efficiency.The main work is summarized as follows:Firstly,literature review.Systematically reviewed the research context and progress of domestic and foreign literature on green technology innovation and ecological efficiency.Secondly,mechanism analysis.Based on the theory of technological innovation and sustainable development,a detailed analysis was conducted on the impact mechanism and action path of green technological innovation on ecological efficiency.Thirdly,the measurement of ecological efficiency.Using the super efficiency SBM model to calculate the ecological efficiency of provincial-level regions in China,combining the Malmquist efficiency index and input-output relaxation rate to analyze the trend of changes and improvement direction of ecological efficiency.Fourthly,empirical analysis.Selecting data from 30 provinces,cities,and autonomous regions in China from 2008 to 2020,this study empirically tests the degree and direction of the impact of green technology innovation on ecological efficiency using Tobit panel model and system GMM dynamic panel model.Fifth,research conclusions.Based on the empirical analysis results,the research conclusion of this article is that green technology innovation has environmental effects that reduce non expected output,and economic effects that increase expected output.The number of applications for green utility model patents has a significant promoting effect on ecological efficiency.The number of applications for green invention patents has a significant positive impact on ecological efficiency after two lagging periods,indicating that the impact of green invention patents on ecological efficiency is lagging,Overall,green technology innovation can have a significant positive impact on ecological efficiency.Based on the results of theoretical and empirical analysis,this article proposes that the government should accelerate the establishment of a sound green technology innovation system,improve the innovation chain of deep integration of industry,academia,research,and application,and enhance the efficiency of the achievement transformation of the green technology innovation system;Establish a strict supervision system to protect green technology achievements and increase law enforcement efforts against infringement in the field of green technology;Establish a special examination system for green technology and increase the priority of green patent examination.By increasing environmental regulations,improving energy utilization structure,and strengthening urban green space construction,we aim to improve ecological efficiency.
