Research On Interface Consistency Experience Design Of Joyoung Small Kitchen Household Appliances

With the advancement of social economy and technology and changes in people’s lifestyles,small household appliances,as an important tool to liberate heavy labor and add interest to life,are naturally integrated into people’s lives.At the same time,with the rapid development of technologies such as touch and the Internet of Things,the interaction interface of small household appliances in the mainstream market is gradually dominated by the combination of software and hardware.With its strong visibility,small area,convenient operation,The characteristics of strong logic put forward new requirements for the overall use experience of the product.At present,many companies have also begun to pay attention to the design of the interactive experience of small household appliances,but due to the limitations of the internal work organization model,such attempts generally appear in the in-depth research and specialized design of a single product,and do not cover the entire category of products well.,it is not conducive to the brand to shape the brand consistency through the design of experience.This topic comes from the school-enterprise cooperation project "Joyoung Small Household Appliances Interaction Specification Design",which the author participated in,and was completed by a number of students.The main appeal of the enterprise is to study the product operation interaction logic of Joyoung’s existing small kitchen appliances,and on the basis of maintaining a unified brand image,study the consistency of interaction logic and interface design,and explore design specifications.Help Joyoung optimize product interaction experience in subsequent product upgrades and replacements,and shape the experience consistency of different product categories and sequences.The author starts from the related theoretical researches such as the central mental model of experience consistency,and extracts the influencing factors of experience consistency based on the user behavior model and the user experience elements of the interactive interface.Then,conduct product walkthrough of the two series of typical products and competing products designated by the partner,low-end and high-end,and obtain seven factors that affect the consistency of the experience of small kitchen appliances-product positioning,product function,interaction Logic,interaction method,control style,interface layout,feedback method,and then through the research of existing users to obtain the real needs and pain points of users,and build Joyoung user circle and typical user portraits.Based on the above research on products and users,combined with the three design goals of this interactive optimization design-user experience upgrade,brand consistency building,and dual-line product differentiation,three representative products were selected for optimized design and passed the usability test.The validity of the optimized design is verified by comparing the experiment with the experience consistency,and the final result is obtained by iterating the plan according to the test results.The main innovations of this research are: take the intelligent small household appliances that use software and hardware combined with interactive interface as the research object;the research method starts from the underlying logic of the interaction between users and products,and summarizes the experience consistency of small kitchen household appliances In terms of design results,the product optimization design was completed according to the previous research,and the reliability of the design results was verified through rapid user testing.The overall research provides a certain theoretical and design method basis for the research on the experience consistency of the interactive interface of smart home appliances combined with software and hardware,and also provides ideas and references for the subsequent interactive design of small kitchen appliances based on experience consistency.
