Culture is the soul of a country and nation, and is a deeper and more lasting force in the development of human society. In the process of promoting cultural self-confidence and self-improvement,the conservation of cultural relics,as one of the carriers of history and culture, has received widespread attention. As one of the important research contents in the field of cultural preservation, the issues of precision, efficiency, and safety of restoration are the core issues of research.China has a large number of cultural relics to be repaired, the traditional restoration of ceramic relics requires a wealth of experience and high operating techniques, the restoration process is slow, the accuracy is not high, and the need for direct contact with cultural relics for fragment comparison, easy to cause secondary damage to cultural relics,so the study of the application of new technologies, restoration method innovation is an important way to enhance the restoration effect, has an important research value. The rapid development of three-dimensional digital technology has made it widely used in many fields, and now it also provides new methods and approaches for the restoration of cultural relics. In this paper,we use 3D laser scanning,3D model reconstruction,3D printing, and other technologies in 3D digital technology to carry out innovative research on ceramic restoration methods, aiming to improve the efficiency of ceramic restoration, present a more complete restoration effect, and provide a full digital restoration archive for subsequent research and use of materials.First of all, under the premise of protecting cultural relics from damage,we use 3D laser scanning technology to collect data of damaged fragments without contact, and after obtaining and processing the 3D model data,we combine traditional visual experience matching with computer algorithm matching to study the fragment matching and splicing method, based on which we use "Geomagic Control" software to complete the virtual restoration of fragments.Secondly,a ceramic cultural relic form retrieval database was constructed and a brief analysis was conducted on the development characteristics of ceramic cultural relics styles from different dynasties. Before restoration, the missing model reconstruction plan can be determined by searching for similar objects, dynasty styles, and geometric features of damaged areas.Following that,a model reconstruction method based on matching surface extraction is proposed and the feasibility of the method is verified with examples. Finally, the reconstructed model is printed using 3D printing technology and then bonded and fixed with the original fragment, and all 3D fragment models are mapped with texture and color to improve the integrity of the restoration. To guide the restoration process of three-dimensional digitalization, permanently preserve the data of cultural relics, and expand the utilization space of restoration resources, this paper composes a full-process restoration management scheme for ceramic relics based on three-dimensional digital technology to standardize and improve restoration practice. The restoration method of ceramic relics studied in this paper reduces the intervention on the body of the relics, improves the restoration accuracy, and proposes a feasible solution for the subsequent use and protection of the restored resources, which can protect the relics more safely and effectively and avoid secondary damage during the restoration process. The establishment of digital archives for the restoration of cultural relics also lays the foundation for a new model of archaeological excavation,cutting-edge technology learning, and expert approval of the program backing can reduce the cost of learning from experience and attract more people to the cause of heritage restoration. |
