Honing process is an important pillar of the manufacturing industry chain,if feed control is not automated,it will affect the processing efficiency of the entire honing process,thereby hindering the development of the manufacturing industry.Therefore,in the honing process,using electric motor drive instead of hydraulic drive is of great significance in ensuring the machining efficiency,dimensional accuracy,and surface quality of the honing workpiece.However,due to the shortcomings of low efficiency,strong fluctuations,large errors,and low accuracy in existing motor driven honing constant pressure and constant speed feed systems,it is difficult to meet the machining requirements of high efficiency and precision in honing.Therefore,this article conducts research on the mechanism and control scheme of the honing feed system.This study takes the honing feed system as the research object,starting from the research methods of simulation modeling and experimental verification,with the aim of improving honing processing efficiency,dimensional accuracy,and surface quality.It mainly solves two problems: 1)modeling the honing feed system;2)Control scheme design.The main research content and results of the paper are as follows:(1)In response to the problem of modeling the honing feed system,this article analyzes the basic theories of mechanical transmission system and motor control system,and combines the structural characteristics of the feed mechanism to establish mathematical models for their systems.The functional relationship between honing feed pressure and motor output torque,honing feed speed and motor speed is analyzed,and based on this,the research on honing constant pressure feed control is transformed into the research on motor constant torque control,The research on honing constant speed feed control has been transformed into research on motor constant speed control,providing theoretical support for the subsequent research on the performance of honing constant pressure and constant speed feed control systems under different control strategies.(2)In response to the low efficiency and accuracy of honing processing,this article designs the control scheme of the system.In the constant pressure feed system of honing,a direct torque control scheme based on fuzzy PI Sliding mode control is designed.Firstly,based on the Sliding mode control algorithm,the flux controller and torque controller are designed and applied to the inner loop of the system;Secondly,based on the fuzzy control algorithm and PID control algorithm,the speed controller is designed and applied to the external loop of the system;Finally,the honing constant pressure feed system was simulated and modeled using Matlab simulation software,and the results were analyzed.Similarly,in the constant speed feed system of honing,a model reference adaptive control scheme based on sliding mode internal model control was designed.This control scheme first utilizes an internal model control algorithm to tune the parameters of the current loop PI regulator,achieving complete decoupling of the cross coupled electromotive force;Secondly,the design of a sliding mode speed controller is implemented based on the principle of sliding mode speed control;Finally,use Matlab simulation software to simulate and model the constant speed feed system and analyze the results.The results show that the designed control scheme is superior to traditional control schemes.(3)In order to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the new control scheme,comparative experiments were conducted for research.Firstly,by analyzing the overall structure of the honing feed system,a structural diagram of the experimental platform is designed;Secondly,an experimental platform is built using components such as permanent magnet synchronous motors,three-phase motor drive boards,and digital signal processors;Finally,the accuracy of the simulation results of the honing constant pressure and constant speed feed system was verified,but due to uncontrollable factors such as external environment and human operation,there is a certain error between the simulation results and experimental results.
