| Biomass ash is a by-product of biomass resources used as energy,which has the characteristics of large storage capacity and difficult to use in China,and most of the current disposal of these ashes is in the form of burial,causing serious environmental pollution.Studies have shown that biomass ash contains a large amount of amorphous silica,which is an ideal silica source for the preparation of high quality white carbon black.In this study,biomass ash was used as raw material to prepare high quality white carbon black by means of alkali dissolution and acid deposition method.The influence of different preparation processes on the quality of white carbon black was investigated,and the mechanism of the influence of different reaction conditions on the quality of white carbon black was revealed.Finally,the prepared white carbon black was applied to the SSBR/BR system,and the application value of high-quality white carbon black was investigated.The main studies are as follows:(1)This study investigated the extraction process of silica by single-factor experiment,and systematically investigated the effects of reaction time,reaction temperature,alkali concentration and liquid-solid ratio on the extraction process.The extraction process of silica was optimized by means of response surface analysis with the modulus of sodium silicate solution as the response value.The experimental results showed that the modulus of the sodium silicate solution prepared at a reaction time of 2h,a reaction temperature of 95°C,a solid to liquid ratio of 1:6 and a Na OH solution concentration of 2mol/L was the highest,reaching 3.03,while the dissolution rate of Si O2in the biomass-based raw ash was also as high as 62.8%under these conditions.(2)Biomass-based white carbon black was prepared by spray drying method using the prepared high modulus sodium silicate solution as precursor,polyethylene glycol as dispersant and ammonium chloride solution as precipitant.During the experiments,the effects of reaction temperature,reaction endpoint p H and ammonium chloride concentration on the quality of white carbon black were investigated.The best reaction conditions were finally determined as 1mol/L ammonium chloride solution,reaction temperature of 60°C and reaction endpoint p H of 8.0.The specific surface area of the biomass-based white carbon black prepared under this condition was larger,reaching 179m2/g,while its agglomerated particle size was only 2.1μm and the original particle size in the vicinity of 20nm.(3)The growth process of white carbon black was regulated by using ethanol as a structural modifier,and high-quality white carbon black with suitable particle size and excellent dispersion was prepared.The application performance was compared with that of commercial white carbon black 1165MP samples,and the effect of white carbon black structure on the performance of the SSBR/BR system was investigated.The study shows that:when the ethanol dosage is 20%of the volume of sodium silicate,the application performance of the prepared white carbon black is the best,compared with the commercial white carbon black1165MP filling system,the mechanical properties of the reinforcement coefficient is improved by 17.2%;the filler dispersion is significantly improved,the Payne effect is significantly reduced,and the loss factor is reduced by 36.6%;the dynamic mechanical properties are improved significantly,the rolling resistance is reduced by The dynamic mechanical properties were significantly improved,with a 20.0%reduction in rolling resistance and a 47.2%increase in wet-slip resistance;DIN wear remained basically unchanged;the compressive heat generation was reduced by 4.3°C,providing an experimental basis for the preparation of SSBR/BR/Si O2composites for green high-performance tires.(4)The effects of precipitant addition,white carbon black drying and different sources of sodium silicate raw materials on the application performance of white carbon black were systematically investigated to explore the application performance of high quality white carbon black at high filling contents.The results showed that the best suitability of the white carbon black with SSBR/BR system was prepared by adding ammonium chloride to sodium silicate solution dropwise at a certain rate and dried by spray dryer using biomass-based material as raw material.And when the number of filled contents of white carbon black of the best process was increased to 95,the properties of the samples were comparable to those of the samples filled with 75 contents of commercial white carbon black 1165MP.The successful preparation of highly filled SSBR/BR/Si O2composites laid the technical foundation for the preparation of cheap and high performance tires. |
