As the economic environment changes day by day,the competition among enterprises penetrates into all aspects of production activities.As the source of production activities of enterprises,procurement activities carry the beautiful vision of enterprises,resist the severe external competitive environment and pressure,and play a huge role in promoting the present and future development of the company,with farreaching influence.Procurement management is an important part of the company’s strategy.As the core material category of the production process of the company’s products,the importance of chemical materials procurement management is incomparable to other materials.Therefore,chemical materials procurement management activities are the top priority in the company’s procurement activities,with great strategic significance and reference significance.B Company is a large manufacturing enterprise specializing in the production of glass panels with customers all over the world.As a mobile phone glass OEM,its scale and volume are huge,and the procurement management activities are complicated.This paper takes the chemical material purchasing management activities of B Company as the research object.First of all,the chemical materials procurement management activities of B Company are described respectively from three dimensions: procurement process,procurement cost and supplier management.Secondly,the questionnaire survey method is used to find the main problems in these three dimensions,including the low efficiency of procurement process,unreasonable procurement cost,imperfect supplier management and other problems.Further,the brainstorm method is used to analyze the reasons,and the main reasons are found to be lengthy procurement process,lack of professional judgment of procurement cost,lack of on-site investigation and incentive mechanism of supplier management.Thirdly,in combination with the procurement process,procurement cost theory and supplier management theory,using ASME analysis method,ABC analysis method,Karajack model and other relevant tools,the paper puts forward three dimensions of improvement measures to optimize the procurement process,reasonably control the procurement cost and improve the management level of suppliers.Finally,by strengthening the procurement personnel training,strengthening the construction of supplier evaluation mechanism,internal audit of procurement risk audit and other three aspects of the implementation of safeguard measures.Through the improvement of the chemical materials procurement management of B Company,the company’s procurement management to a new level,chemical materials procurement management has a very significant reference to the procurement management of other materials,improve the company’s competitiveness in the market.
