| The remediation of urban black and odorous water bodies has become an important part of the work of local people’s governments at all levels to improve the urban living environment.However,due to the complex causes of urban black and odorous water bodies and many influencing factors,the task of remediation is still very arduous.In 2017,Xiangtan City fully launched the basic treatment of the black and odorous water body of Ailao Canal,and achieved good results after the implementation of the project.However,after more than 3years of operation,some black and odorous water bodies have experienced varying degrees of pollution due to the failure of the source control and pollution interception project or incomplete pollution interception,inadequate water body operation and maintenance,incomplete tail-sweeping projects,and lack of ecological control measures.Back to black and odor phenomenon.This paper investigates the current situation of the water environment in the high-drainage canal of Ailao Canal in Xiangtan City,analyzes the current pollution sources and water environmental loads,formulates corresponding implementation plans,and predicts and evaluates the short-term and long-term treatment effects after the implementation of the plan.Finally,the comprehensive treatment plan for the water environment of the Ailao Canal High Drainage Basin in Xiangtan City was sorted out,which provided guidance for the follow-up improvement projects of the Ailao Canal High Drainage Basin,and also provided a certain reference for the water environment governance in other places.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)By Studying Regional Profiles,at the same time,through on-site investigation and corresponding measurement and testing data,it is concluded that the current situation of the channel has the following problems: Baimu Lake Park has not implemented the regulation and storage facilities,and there are many rain and sewage combined drainage systems,the direct discharge of domestic sewage is seriously polluted,a large amount of domestic waste and some construction waste are piled up disorderly,and the channel silt accumulates.(2)Current pollution sources in the basin are mainly point source pollution,confluence system overflow pollution,non-point source pollution and endogenous pollution.Model simulation and data analysis are used to obtain the annual pollutant discharge of each pollution source,and the current water environment capacity of the channel is analyzed and studied to obtain the current water environment capacity.By comparing the water environment capacity and the pollution load,the water environment capacity cannot meet the pollution load.requirements.(3)After investigating and analyzing the current situation of the channel,put forward a comprehensive remediation idea of "control of source pollution,endogenous management,ecological restoration,quality of living water,and long-term mechanism",with environmental capacity as the core,discharge as the focus,and integration of sponge Urban concept,construction of rain and sewage diversion,sewage collection,endogenous treatment,garbage removal and transportation,living water quality,ecological restoration and other engineering systems,and complete the comprehensive treatment plan for the Ailao Canal.The near-term plans include the renovation of some roads and residential drainage pipe networks,the construction of sewage interception pipes,the cleaning and disposal of channel bottom mud,the restoration and reinforcement of channel embankments,the installation of storage facilities in Baimu Lake wetland,and the ecological restoration of river channels.The long-term plan includes the improvement of the municipal pipe network system,the transformation of rain and sewage diversion in the community,enterprises and institutions,the construction of the source sponge city,the control of agricultural non-point source pollution,and the construction of the channel ecosystem.(4)After the recent treatment is completed,there is only a small amount of endogenous pollution on sunny days,and the main pollution in the basin on rainy days is overflow pollution and a small amount of non-point source pollution.The most unfavorable rainfall effect assessment in the near future shows that the water environment capacity cannot meet the requirements of pollution load,and the black odor can be eliminated within one day after the rainfall.After the long-term treatment is completed,there will be only a small amount of endogenous pollution on sunny days,and the main pollution in the basin on rainy days will be urban non-point source pollution.During rainfall,most of the non-point source pollution enters the Xiangjiang River,and only part of the non-point source pollution remains in the river course.The long-term overall effect assessment of the water environment capacity can meet the requirements of the pollution load.Through ecological restoration and living water quality preservation measures,long-term cleaning can be achieved.Long-term evaluation of the most unfavorable
