| The development of chemical weapons of mass destruction in the First World War posed a huge threat to human life.Chemical protective clothing,which can provided protection against chemical agents,is a type of personal protective equipment that protects the human from chemical reagents.There are currently two types of protective clothing on the market:permeable and non-permeable.Traditional chemical protective clothing has the disadvantage of being heavy and lacking in comfort,which severely limits the working time of the user.So with protection in mind,developing a lightweight and comfortable selective chemical protection material is of great importance.In order to develop lightweight and comfortable protective clothing,a fluoropolymer coating and a highly elastic fiber frame have been developed in this article.By using different solvents to dissolve the fluorinated sulfonic acid resin and adjusting the concentration and viscosity of the solution,a stable dispersion of the fluorinated polymer coating solution was obtained and the coating process of the fluorinated polymer coating was studied.Based on electrostatic spinning using bio-based TPU as the raw material to develop a bio-based TPU nanofiber film.The obtained membrane have a uniform fiber diameter and smooth surface,the membrane was tested and found to have a fracture stress of 8.91 MPa,an elongation of 121.26%,a hydrostatic pressure of 86.41 KPa and a WVT value of 10.08 kg/m~2/d.It was also found to have good water resistant and moisture transmission properties under deformation conditions.On this basis,a high-barrier,moisture-permeable fluoropolymer protective fabric was developed by laminating a coated fiber film with polyester woven fabric and nylon mesh fabric using a dispensing method..The fabric’s elasticity and fatigue resistance were analysis by DMA,It was founded to be able to withstand 80%tensile strain,and after 1000 cycles the maximum stress in the protective fabric was over 59%,with an elastic recovery rate of over 85%,which indicated good elasticity and fatigue resistance.Through protective testing,CEES was found to have a penetration rate of only0.01324μg/cm2/min into the protective fabric,which is better than Du Pont’s product.The water resistance and moisture permeability properties of the fabric are also superior to those of widely available protective clothing.The high barrier moisture permeable nano-fluoropolymer protective fabric prepared in this paper has both moisture permeability and protective properties and provides a new idea for the development of selective permeable chemical protective fabrics. |
